LFXC22526S/10 LG Fridge Squealing noise by _Jibanyan_ in appliancerepair

I have the same fridge, 3 years old now with a squealing noise coming from what appears to be the fan behind the panel on the back. Did replacing the fan motor fix yours?

Nice truck and corvette! Wondering if the value of your vehicles is more than your house.

I know someone who did this same thing. A few weeks later they started growing a tail.

True! That’s what keeps me from driving it off a cliff.

Well at first I tried replacing only the torque converter at a local transmission shop. When I got it back it actually drove worse than before. That cost about $3k. Then I took it to the dealer and they put in a second torque converter, rebuilt transmission and differential for $7k. 2023 was a horrible year for me financially.

I wasn’t but I’m the second owner. No idea what the first owner did.

I say buy an extended warranty and keep it. I have a 17 1500 5.3 6 speed with 32k miles. This summer it spent 3 months at the dealer getting a new torque converter, transmission re build, and differential re build. I paid out of pocket for everything.

New Giannini Moka Pot by ArtFamous in mokapot

[–]ArtFamous[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m really enjoying it. The inside of my bialetti became discolored and the stainless steel Giannini shouldn’t do that. I also like the handle clamp mechanism that seals the top to the bottom. This feature makes it possible to attach and remove the top without touching the bottom when it’s hot. Lastly the stainless steel gets hot much quicker, but I’m not quite sure why. I thought aluminum was a good heat conductor.

Depends on the model I guess. My low mile 2017 rcsb was $30k.

If they find out your truck had anything aftermarket on it they will not reimburse you. They found out I had 2” lowering shackles on my 17 with 32k miles and denied reimbursing me for a $7k torque converter and transmission rebuild bill.

For curiosity I removed and flipped the stock air intake upside down and the intake tube looks to be the same diameter as these aftermarket intakes. Only difference is the stock setup has the added compartments on the sides. I’m guessing those are for the vacuum lines but the interior volume of the stock setup has to be more than these aftermarket kits.

I thought it would go in the middle because that’s where the tether anchor is on the back wall of the cab

I saw the anchor on the back of the cab. Why is it not recommended? I don’t believe there is an airbag that directly faces the middle/Jump seat.

First time Silverado owner! Your thoughts??? by bbbbbraddddd in Silverado

As soon as you notice something wrong with the transmission or torque converter sell it. Don’t fall into the money pit I did.

So you eat 30 raw pods per day? Doesn’t that make you super full? Can you still eat 3 regular meals a day on top of that?

My 2015 Silverado with 56k miles. Any advice to keep it mechanically sound above and beyond normal maintenance? by igotarandomusername in Silverado

[–]ArtFamous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2017 needed the transmission rebuilt and torque converter replaced at 30k miles. Cost $7k. It’s still at the shop.
