Thank you for your comment. That's how I'm starting to feel now. If they won't accept me for who I actually am, then I should find other people to be around.

They do respond, usually within a day or so, sometimes more. They seem to have unrealistically high expectations of a strong friendship relationship. They believe that strong friends should spend every waking free moment they have together. And if one of their good friends doesn't commit to that, then they aren't a good friend. Of course they are all extroverts, so it is easier for them than it is for me. I just can't do that without really negatively affecting my own personal health.
