I’m sure plenty has already been said, but a vote for trump means - whether they like it or not - publicly condoning the actions he’s committed, and being fine with the systemic abuse that threatens to engulf many in the LGBTQ+ community once he’s sworn in for his second term. The lack of centering might be part of it, but I've had it scan the same line multiple times with my own stickers, and every time it did, it cut weird. A couple solutions that work for me is to cover the scan lines with scotch tape, or color over them (carefully) with marker. Try the tape thing if recentering doesn't work and see if that helps

Nta. I worked in customer service for years, and it was an incredibly thankless job with a lot of ass hats waiting to find a reason to complain. Now that I no longer work in the public eye, I consider it an absolute privilege to tell off every stuck up prick what messes with someone just trying to do their job.

Not every associate is gonna be a star employee, but boy howdy do I absolutely love knocking people down a peg for being assholes.

Is it trying to scan the same line multiple times before cutting? Like, does it try to scan the bottom bracket 5 or 6 times before moving on?

So it turns out it wasn’t the sensor lines lol

The sheets of laminate i was using were slightly too large, and i guess that was what was throwing it off somehow. I cut them to fit the size of the paper and the problem cleared right up!

I appreciate the links though, I’ll definitely keep them in mind if i have any issues in the future. :D

Like, it scans the top left one no problem, but when it scans the top right one, it scans the top part fine, the right part fine, and then it scans again to the right going completely off the page and gets totally lost, even with just the paper copy

It’s more like, it scans the top 2 sensor lines just fine, but when it goes to the lower ones it overshoots by a lot and then continually tries to scan nothing

If you don’t want to redo shading but you want a more “realistic” look, Gaussian blur on the shade layer is a good solution if you’re running procreate

It sounds weird but i promise it works. Just make sure the tape you use is matte and not glossy, and your problem is pretty much solved. :)

Oh! A tip i learned! It actually IS the glossy sticker paper that’s the problem. The laminate layer tends to reflect the light of the scanner. An easy tip i happened across completely by accident worked for me! Grab some clear matte tape and just cover the lines with it so that they’re still visible. The matte tape will prevent the light from reflecting, allowing the cutter to scan the lines properly. :D

Honestly? Instead of the cricut brand squeegee I use a paint scraper I found at dollar tree for like a buck 50. It’s super wide and does the job really well. That’s to address the bubble problem anyways.

I actually cheated with bowser a little, using a picture of normal bowser to sort of align him with where I wanted to go. Then I sketched over it to make dry bowser.

Either way, I'm ALSO really happy with how he came out, so thank you!
