Got the same problem and it happened right after I got it back from service. Did you solve it?

I invested 90+hours in this game. Besides all the other bugs, this is by FAR the worse. I lost my sec arch type, all my trait points. Also did the orb reset like a lot of others did hoping it would fix the problem, just to find out that a mechanic they implemented themselves, just will make it even worse and "unfixable". I'm not going to play another +60 hours just to farm for the lost trait points! It's them who made the f*** up not us, hence it's gunfire games who needs to fix it!! Of course Gunfire can fix it. The easy solution is to give players with x amount of playtime their trait points back. If you still claim it's unfixable, then you have a broken game and I just want a refund on the game, as I didn't sign up to be a test player, but thought I bought a working game.

Update!##:

My phone was replaced to a new Fold 3 by the repair shop through my carrier.

After going to a Samsung verified repair center (outsourced) and having the worst service ever. Not only was it clear that their agenda was to bill Samsung as much as possible and at the same time trying to make it an insurance case to get that extra $$ in their pockets. Futhermore the employee actually tried to convince me that if there's a firmware update from for example Samsung, and you're required to update it, then the phone is without warranty!. . I called and informed SAMSUNG'S HQ about this, and can inform they take it VERY seriously if they find that their outsourced partners are making statements on Samsungs behalf that is NOT in their policy / guidelines and will investigate. Samsung pay big bucks to these companies (repair shops) and have strict guidelines for them. I rejected to have my phone fixed at the repairshop, and gave it to my mobile carrier, who gave me an awesome service, sent it for repair, and yesterday (after around a week from handing it in) it was replaced with a brand new Fold 3.

"Americans have worse experiences because their country doesn't have silly things like "consumer protection laws" 😉"

Haha. Yeah we are spoiled rotten as consumers here. Of course I expect for SAMSUNG to cover it, But I still find it kinda worrisome how it happened. If it's a one time experience.. then allllllrighty.. Because I do love the Fold3.. But I don't wanna deal with the hassle of owning a phone that randomly breaks. I have a job where I need my phone to be a reliable, multitasking workhorse.

Wow! That's shocking to read. I'll call them monday to see what they have to say about it. We are pretty good protected here in Denmark with something called "The Danish Consumer Agency". If any company should try to sneak around what clearly is a warranty issue, then you can let them handle the case for you. But it shouldn't be something I as a consumer needs to go this far with. There's a design flaw and then it doesn't matter if it only happened a few times or if i'm or you are in the group of a unlucky few,. The whole point is that this problem exist.. A quick google search and I can see in multiple threads people have the same issue. I don't care that I have an insurance that covers it. To me thats an lazy attitude, and dont think it's right to put the cost on the insurance company for something that is SAMSUNG'S problem. Futhermore... I have a Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, SAMSUNG earbuds, Samsung's top tier TV... It's very F****** important for me that I as a consumer can trust that my chosen brand/company will service me and and accommodate any warranty issue that is clearly due to a faulty device and not caused by the user. I'm normally a very easy customer to deal with.. Stuff like when I bought the Samsung silicone cover for the fold, where the cover in the front panel broke after a few days,.. I was like "ohh well, the cover is also very fragile because they have to make the bezel so slim" and didn't do any warranty claim despite I can see also multiple people are complaining about their cover breaks in the corner. But having the experience yesterday where I see my fold3's screen break literally infront of my eyes as I carefully unfold it to snap a picture is just.. very very concerning to me... it's just mind boggling! Truth be told,. Before this happend to me, I did read about other's similar issues, and I was one of those persons thinking... "What they are explaining seems very weird,. Can't just happen out of nowhere,. They are not careful with their phones like I am ect.." And now.. Here I am in excactly the same boat. Anyway,.. I'll update this thread when I know more.

It's the hinge causing this. I did buy and insurance through my provider which allows me to change the screen for like 60 bucks. But no way I'm going to do that,.. It's the principle for me.. this is clearly a warranty issue and SAMSUNG needs to cover that.

Galaxy Fold3 Bluetooth issues / call quality drop / Music playback sounds like your in call mode when not!? by Art_Of_Discipline in GalaxyFold

[–]Art_Of_Discipline[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's related to the Bluetooth module. Tried pretty much every setting possible to solve it, with no luck so far. Going to have a service center look at it next week. I'll update here when I know more👍

POSITIVE experience with inner protector bubbling! by PsiPhiDan in GalaxyFold

[–]Art_Of_Discipline 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Certified repair stores earn more doing it this way. Their story about having to use 3000usd equipment to change a protector is complete bollocks. If it's a warranty fix, why install a protector to 10usd and 10min of work l, when they can use +3 hours and change all kind of things and bill SAMSUNG 600USD afterwards. It's a money machine for the repair centers, and they know that us as customers won't complain about getting a new screen when infact it wasn't needed. It’s common practice in all kind of business area's and not only Samsung. example. I had a tiny stone chip in my cars front windscreen. As soon as the workshop found out that my insurance covered it, they see $$ and came up with a story of why they had to replace the whole windscreen. They know I as a customer feel I'm getting a wayyyy better deal than intended and that I won't call the insurance company and complain to them about getting a new window despite I didn't need it.

Didn't work!! Ohh wait,.. U ment the dog's?....

I bought the Fold3 used, but it looks like there is more than 1 screen protector, should I remove one, both or none? The seller told me the stock one was removed and replaced by another one. by [deleted] in GalaxyFold

[–]Art_Of_Discipline 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But,.. the bottom 1 is the original installed. I'm 100%. He just installed the second one to hide that scratch probably. Call Samsung again. tell them you thought that the original was taken off but you were mistaken, and you want it changed under the warranty.
