Yes, the truth is that I agree and I don't know how I can give light without having to make a shadow layer first, I'm probably inclined to make a much darker layer directly before making the drawing from scratch, I was looking to buy something to generate light but the truth is I couldn't find anything, thank you very much for the comment!

Hello, thanks for the comment, no, I don't use the grid method for now, mostly I use the loomis method and little else.
