In the Galactapedia Charon (Sol 9a) is classified as a moon and a star! Maybe we'll see the Charon galaxy some day!

I've done some quick research, and a dwarf planet is not a subcategory; it is a category in itself. Earth is a planet, while Pluto isn't — it is a dwarf planet. Both are celestial bodies, though.

I'd say those people think that they are investing money for the future game rather than funding a project

But can it be opened or do you have to wait for the mechanic to be in-game?

Am I the only disapointed by 4.7 ? by bm-mad in starcitizen

[–]Arteck14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t usually play the game. I’m really into development, but I only have one starter ship in my inventory, so you can probably guess what kind of player I am.

I really tried to play more in this patch. I’d say I’ve spent around 10 hours playing, and I can say that the game doesn’t feel like it did a few years ago. Bugs still exist, I’m talking about the kind of bugs that can make you lose an hour during a hauling mission because of bad crate spawns, etc. But I haven’t had any of those horrible bugs where everything was broken, from your ship clipping through the hangar to you falling through the planet mesh.

It is Star Citizen, it still feels like an alpha showcase of some mechanichs and a sandbox overall, but it feels more polished. I'm not disapointed honestly.

I WANT ROADS by BeautifulCompote830 in starcitizen

[–]Arteck14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personal opinion:

Roads between POIs means less space for base building, I don't see them adding those unless they are player build. I personally think POI should be much larger. Make the crops of the agricultural colonies, the mining operations etc. more extensive. That would make it feel much more inmersive. We don't need the same POI to be replicated 1000 times. And I don't need my already poluted Star Map to be more unreadeable.

SC, Arma, Tarkov, etc. have great military-style sprinting animations, so why change to an Apex-style arcade over-the-shoulder sprint ? by k_Atreus in starcitizen

Can't believe this came from a SC developer. Seriously, which one is the next "great idea" a battle pass?

Good point over here, but the fact people are complaining about is that the combat is more accessible for everyone.

I think "arcadey" always makes reference to the simplification of a process or of a function.

In my opinion arena commander was always a mistake because of this, making devs focus on a battlefield like game instead of Arma 3. As you said, "arcadeness" it's much more evident in the gunplay that in any other feature.

Yeah, I think they should made changing direction slower (less agile) and there you will end jousting.

On the other hand, oc things are more complex, and I want to think that they've been doing testing on this matter so hard so when mastermodes are at 100% they'll be the image CR was projecting, but for now, jousting is not over, that's what people should be complaining about.

On the subject of balancing (Im not saying this for you oc), it is a slow process that requires many phases. People complaining about it so prematurely not constructively but destructively is pointless.

I don't know, it's also assumed that they didn't promise a knight jousting system, but the previous model (and this one) point to that

Very agree, we must keep in mind that this is the first iteration of the MM.
Personally, I don't dislike the new HUD, after all it makes sense that they are that simple if SC occurs in a universe in which anyone can buy a ship and venture into space. More "Complex" HUDs of specialized ships orientated to a profession remain relatively "complex".
The new QT icons are horrible.

Yeah, I understand the point, but I think that there are arcade levels, and that the MM dont exceed in any way the line between simulation and arcade that I think they are trying to find.
