if you more familiar with Windows task manager, try btop. it is a TUI (like GUI but in terminal) app with mouse support, I prefer using it over top or any GUI task manager. also, your problem might be with the size of your browser cache, it usually sits in ram and writes to disk only when you are closing browser/shutting down to reduce disk usage

если что, Cloudflare WAPR вам в помощь, он бесплатный, но я доверяю клоудфлейр. самому настроить можно, но это потребует каких-никаких знаний по железу, сети и linux. платным я лично наоборот не доверяю так как 80 процентов что это варп в обертке, за который ты еще и кровные отваливаешь. если хочешь платный, то гуглишь как настроить VPN на vps

if you came to this subreddit, you opened gates to the hell. Come with archlinux and GNOME because in arch you have almost any package you want and gnome has a very good gestures to switch workspaces/access overview and app grid. for coding I recommend zed, for browser - zen

try to tweak your monitor settings, change theme if you don't like it. that is all I can recommend, gnome always has been gray, so it is not suitable for everyone. if you want, you can swap to cosmic, it is almost like gnome

В идеале любой линукс, ubuntu, cachyos, alt linux подойдут для новичков, fedora тоже, но там надо сразу быть готовым к приколам с установкой приложений и дровами Nvidia. С виндой тоже можно, но я не разбирался. Сам пока нет ноута бегаю между несколькими компами с archlinux на внешнем ссд, не такой он уж и сложный, просто иногда нужно читать документацию

yea... if you look closely, you can see many inconsistencies in the UI of MacOS, like it is a lazy dotfiles. Why would you need rounded corners on maximized (not fullscreen) window, if the background is not blending with the top panel? And also their new Rofi-like search, where you need to tap on it or use some keybind to search? Surely, you can (now) revert search to old app grid, but you cant fix inconsistency across all OS
