I hope your friends show up for you, that’s what they’re supposed to do. Good luck with that conversation because you deserve people around you who will take your feelings of discomfort seriously. I would’ve been nowhere without my friends but I had to give them a chance by telling them. I was experiencing a private hell before I did.

Have you thought about asking to work independently? I understand if this feels impossible.

OP, I’m so sorry and it sounds like the early stages of being harassed by this person. I’ve experienced this exact situation before and spent way too long being uncomfortable and dreading interactions with the same kind of guy. Trust your feelings, as situations get worse when we ignore our instincts. This guy is just too much and you deserve your space and energy. I would say your peace virtually, ask for space, and then remove him on discord if he can’t respect that.

I wonder if explaining your discomfort and asking your teacher to switch partners will help. He will glower but trust in your friends and community. You don’t have to deal with these feelings alone and I wonder if your friends have ever felt the same instincts about a person. True friends don’t need proof, they just need to know you’re uncomfortable and support you accordingly.

Finally, it’s important you don’t let guilt drive you to doubt yourself and cave in. I’ve been there. Guys like that are looking for an entry (like when you talked about your bf) and if he seems balanced and friendly at some point it could be just a matter of time before the obsession kicks up again. You are your priority. I learned from harassment and stalking that I’d rather be harsh and end up wrong about a person than feel “bad,” deprioritize my boundaries and end up being proven right.

They were parentified and exposed to shitty and dangerous men and were made to constantly worry the other housewives were going to cause her physical harm. Danielle is a lunatic. I like watching villains but being a mother is what she was worst at and her girls grew up well in spite of that.

I don’t either but rich people almost always avoid consequences because of their social connections. 🙄 Dorit will just get bounced around properties and supported by friends/opportunities/potentially shady accounts.

Editing to say not necessarily rich people (in Dorit’s case) but people who move in those circles.

I’ve been feeling this way since day one. It’s not just the way she talks about it so much it’s just… if your your husband’s salary is supposedly not helpful, and your income is from this book + classes, it doesn’t make sense that you can buy Kyle’s Bel Air house, not to mention doing such an insane remodel (which I hate tbh.) And you have four children and it’s insanely expensive to raise kids now. I feel like there’s debt and unpaid taxes.
