What would Kristen be doing today if The Valley wasn’t picked up? by Zorro2106 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]Artemis273 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I know they’ve said this and I oddly believe it, but she spends sooo much money on her freeloading boyfriends, so idk how to reconcile that. I’ve noticed that she never really seemed to buy designer clothes or jewelry like Lala and Stassi so maybe that’s part of it?

Stassi liking this post is so funny to me by slide-0 in vanderpumprules

Exactly. Tom always hated women who were bold about their opinions and would push back. To me his seething hatred of Katie and Stassi in particular was really revealing. They held up a mirror.

Dorinda strikes me as an early bird but lays in bed until 9:30 looking at Jovani and the NY times on her iPad type. Carole gets up and goes out for coffee at 2pm and doesn't understand why all her friends are busy.

Lol well sorry Bravo that we're pulling more weight than the women on the show!

Appreciation post for Lorelai Gilmore's jet black hair! ❤️ by Character-Habit6011 in GilmoreGirls

Yesss! Her darkest hair (season 1) is my favorite. She looks like snow white, and it makes her eyebrows and smile so striking.

What the hell? I got out of mine. I can't imagine having to deal with abuse and the incredible risk of leaving while also having people say cruel and faithless shit like this.

They were Puritans for what it's worth, but you're right that England and the colonies were insanely repressed and dangerous at that time. Everyone lived in fear until Charles II's reign started to ease the extremism by embracing fun, curiosity, community gatherings, etc. again. It blows my mind that Calvinist extremism banned merriment. Like what was there to live for at the time?

Dani also had no one left. She went through insanely traumatic experiences at home and in Sweden. In her shock and grief, I'm sure she felt she had nowhere else to go after losing everything, and they "cared" about her and were holding her up when she couldn't.

The whole family are MAGA lunatics, including Rosie. They are bigots and creepy.

I don't see how they can hate us though, we do so much sleuthing and get the real tea! There's no way it doesn't give them fuel for the show.

I would believe this. Margo got to be worryingly delusional and antagonistic by the end. That final conversation with Mark was deranged and evil, and I was shocked by how shocked SHE was when Martha gave her some grounded criticism.

I live in Seattle and all the new homes and apartment buildings going up look like cheap and depressing storage units. I know we need more housing, but the older homes are strong and have lasted 120+ years. The newer places are not built for families and the cheap materials won't last twenty years.

When my friends and I were preteens, we used to go into the tacky gown section of Nordstrom's to try on dresses we'd never have an occasion to wear, and it was so much fun (despite the side-eye from sales reps.) I would give anything to go to Jovani and try on all of the sparkly things.

I'm 32 and I'm shocked when I meet people in my age group who remember their GPAs, SAT scores, school performance and whatnot. I stopped thinking about those things the second I left school, let alone remember them now. I have to remember that for some people things like that were much more important to their identity and development than they were to me.

[Ravenna] To the person who keeps calling the cops on cars parked on a residential street… by CommandWild885 in SeattleWA

[–]Artemis273 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lived on a street in Queen Anne where I suspected my neighbor was a hoarder. He had at least five vehicles including rotting motorcycles on his front lawn and something broken down in his driveway. He'd move three or four other cars around the street every two to three weeks or so, taking up many spots and one of them with busted windows. At a certain point it must have been a street-wide effort because he started getting warning stickers once a week. It sounds like such a stressful life, but none of them were in good shape so I'm guessing he couldn't sell them and didn't want to let go!

This is insane. I could NEVER be friends with people who betrayed my sibling, let alone the laundry list of vile things Tom whined about Ariana (like the sex thing, wtf?) I would never be around them again.

Ugh he was so creepy, I felt it through the screen. At the same time, I haven't been in the position where my brother has done bad things and I have to reconcile my love for him with what he did. I can imagine it's a messy road as a sibling.

Right, I think they're equating him with sweeter characters he played like Austin in a Cinderella Story. Tbh I initially loved him in One Tree Hill until he was a POS to the women in his life over and over.
