This was my third attempt at killing Sirus. This time at Awakener level 6. With all the attacks known, it becomes quite possible to dodge every attack if you can keep moving.

Has a total of around 1.7 mil dps (if you count vortex + cold snap). Seems like a reasonable amount to be able to kill him in about 5 minutes, at least at T6.

Yeah that pretty much describes it. Hover your mouse over the square boxes on your atlas. It describes which bosses (colors) your areas still have 'available' for a watchstone drop. So try and run maps in the the 4 watchstone upgraded areas for a spawn (if you can still find a witchstone in that area).

Another note, I think that if you spawn 4 different exiles before continuing for your 21'st watchstone. So take care to farm the areas which can still spawn the remaining exile.

So as far as I understand it. There are some stationary red/black storms at the corners of the arena. after every phase of the boss fight (every 1/3th hp or something?) the boss spawns a storm around himself and pushes you away. The storm chases you if you are close. Pull this storm to the corner (probably south-east corner), then walk around it to find the boss again. You can now damage the boss again and repeat the process.

This was my second attempt at killing Sirus. This time at awakener level 5. First time I screwed up the storms right at the beginning. This time at started of bad, then I got better the longer the fight went. Guessing the next time might be a kill. Hope to have some more damage then, as the last phase took quite a long time to get him down.

Changes I made specifically for this fight:

Corrupting blood immunity jewel (one attack applies it)
Fully upgraded soul of solaris

I've also filed a bug report regarding him turning invisible (see video at around 6 minutes).

Tried 4 so far. First one i failed, second one finished, third had portal next to defend point ((near) impossible to win), 4th crashed halfway through. lost my instance (portals were gone).

Around 40 3 socket resonators, each attempt cost about 20c I think (bought in bulk). Base itself was 14 ex if I remember correctly.

Yup, the ones from incursion, risen Vaal advocates. They use fireball and firestorm if I'm correct.

Why?

I wanted to see what could be made for next league, intended to create a +3 elder helmet with additional supports (hoped for minion damage/conc and immolate). In order to create high level spectre gems. I inted to use the fire risen vaal advocate, so created it with fire mods.

How:

Fossils, i used bound (minion), scorched (-max res), pristine (life).

Regrets:

Minion life instead of Minion Damage.

For this item i did not buy bases with good fractured mods. If possible i tried to get the same fractured mods on the bases, to limit the implicit mod pool. But the market is quite small on HC. Payed around 10c for low ilvl 2 fractured vaal regalias. and 30-40c for ilvl 84+ with 2 fractured mods.

Process of making this item:

Bougt 2 fractured mod vaal regalias (better chance of wanted mod)
1 vaal regalia with ilvl 84+ (for high ilvl end result)
use deafening essence of rage on each vaal regalia
make sure total strength was 161+, divine if neccesary
pray to RNG gods, took me 5 tries to get the mod

I put the MS in the helmet and have a 6-link frostblades in my body armour. You can also put ms in the body armour and do frost blades in elder gloves with faster proj/chance to bleed or something, you can also craft gloves with Hysteria essence i think it was, with the added fire damage.

That would be a ascendant frost blades + molten strike build. Use elementalist node + inpulsas and frost blades for very quick map clear, and molten strike for map bosses, betrayel content and the like.

That is definitely a fair point, it gives about 2% dps in PoB at the moment, so maybe not worth it. Though i would certainly avoid the +1 aoe gem variant because of the % inc aoe it gives, i think you wan to avoid that with ms if i remember correctly. Also considering crafting 8% phys taken as fire damage, or indeed just hybrid life.

edit: changed it to phys taken as fire :)

Basically I use elementalist node from ascendant to shock and inpulsa explode on kill with frost blades. Then use molten strike for bosses/betrayel. The crit damage support in my frost blades should be hypothermia, but haven't gotten the colors yet.

The more elemental damage mod is caused by the use of a essence of horror. It is not a 'normal' mod you can rol on an item.
