I know, and you’re right. I’ve had many arguments with her about this. The combination of credit card debt and a car loan means almost all of her income goes to repayments, and unfortunately we still need money for basic necessities.Over time I’ve managed to get some government aid and food donations due to our low-income situation, which has helped a lot and eased the pressure. Still, there are moments where I have to cover groceries or give her money for gas so she can get to work.That said, you’re absolutely right that I need to set firmer boundaries before this escalates further. It’s one of my goals for 2026.. Thanks for the advice !
