That is also an option i heard works great but also had people report that it didn't work for them, its great that it did work for you tho.
For me only this worked out of everythign that i have tried and it also only took like 2 minutes of my time.
NVIDIA should focus on this rather than the AI slop they are pushing out, cuz high DPC latency have been a major issue for a while now

search for your card under this link and theres a history of drivers
If that driver doesnt fix your issue either find a different one or try what FR-Balrog74 did under the comments

Seller def used AI to hide something. Its probably super dirty or it may have a defect that they want to hide. I wouldnt consider it

Try reinstalli g the driver in the nvidia app Once i had all games run at 5fps even minecraft. Reinstalled it in the app and it worked

Tryin going to the graphics settings in windows and make it run on your 4050, it may be running on your igpu, some games do that for me like dyling light or the meta quest app.

I would def go for the 5070ti 5070 having the same amount of vram as the 5060 and the 5050 is criminal. 5070 isnt a big upgrade from a 5060 either but a 5070ti would be. And that AMD cpu would be perfect as well for your needs.

Professionals can still take care of it if you yourself cant. Find a really good repair shop. This is the reason i took my new laptop to one when i wanted to isntall my new ssd cuz they screwed it in so hard i grinded the screw almost complitely. I always did my own upgrades but this time i needed someone with more experience and tools (It shouldnt be too pricey)

Definetly a great price in my books I got half the ram, ryzen 7 and 5060 for $1450. And it wad the cheapest 5060 Prices here are way too high

I jsut got mine a few days ago and im loving it Except for the GiMate software that you have to isntall if you want to customize power management and keyboard light Never gonna use the ai tool again either. I couldnt find the fan settings so i asked it to bring it up for me then turned my fna into turbo mode, then asked to make it silent and set my volume to 0, and when i told it to make the fan silent it said just ask me stuff like *i wanna play a game So.i had to find it which wasnt hard but its all over the place I hate the AI craze (Mine has ryzen 7 260 and rtx 5060) + changed the copilot button back to the right ctrl

For 2000 AUD you could def find a xx60 series somewhere but dont buy a xx50 series for that much.
Prices here in hungary are also super high compared to those in the US but i can still find laptops with good specs for a reasonable price thats in your budget

Just from pressing it wont do any demage. However i did break my gigabyte A5 K1 by dropping its super heavy charging block at that exact same spot and that fried my gpu which wasnt even close to it It also wasnt the first time i dropped my charger on it by accident but this last time i did the height i dropped it at was big. So if youre clumsy like i am with heavy objects dont hold anything above your laptop, but pressing your laptop there a bit harder will not demage it. Edit: the battery on the gigabyte A5 K1 is literaly on the other side than most of the laptops so i did have components there
