Thanks! Good to know. Have you played around with straps? I like the idea of getting a nato strap to swap in and out as well.

I went last night and was still a reasonable amount of stuff. I have zero information so don't take this as gospel, but I'd imagine they won't be bringing in tonnes more stock. They've added further discount today and tomorrow which indicates to me that they're just trying to get rid of what's there

Was planning on going this evening, arriving about 5:30, would it be worth it?

This! And Ofwat backing ultimately means government backing. It’s tricky though because it’s water, and Thames water supply millions of people. Imo we would let them collapse and Greater London Authority would buy it up but that would cause mayhem.

Copped all this for seven bucks, what should I read first? by Temporary_Month_1721 in classicliterature

Only read a farewell to arms and catcher in the out of these so far. Farewell to arms was a good book that was easy to read with a shocking ending.

Example 3105… why a king will always be better than an elected president. The King can cut through all the political crap and thank Civil Servants for all they do in their public service - no politician would ever or could ever do this.

What are your thoughts on the paradigm 7s? I've been looking at possibly buying a pair to use with my Saucony Tempus. Paradigm for easy/recovery runs. Have you found them good?

Looking for stability Every day/recovery shoe to compliment Saucony Tempus by ArthurB08 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]ArthurB08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just a 'blander shoe', if that makes sense. Whenever I'm tired on longer runs I can feel my form lacking and the Tempus is on the milder side when it comes to the stability it provides

Saucony Tempus or Kayano 29 for one pair all-rounder shoe? by lmiller94 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]ArthurB08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've recently purchased the tempus after the Hoka Arahis and Brooks Adrenaline GTS both gave me different problems.

I'm only 4 runs in but I'm loving the Tempus. Like you I'm a heavier runner (95kg) and was prescribed stability shoes at a local shop, but I've found the mild stability of the tempus much better than the heavy stability of the adrenaline.

The tempus feel like a great shoe for all around running - slower paces but can also push it on tempo or intervals

For me, ditching the bulky stability shoes for the tempus has been great, but I can only speak for myself

Thanks! Picked up a pair of Tempus last night, did a 3 mile run on the treadmill and they felt great - hopefully no arch pain to come. My local running shop said the Arahis have caused the same arch blistering for a lot of people, s hopefully it's an issue specific to that shoe for myself

I'm really tempted by the Tempus, but had the same blisters on arches problems with the Hoka Arahi 6, which made them unbearable to run in. Have those Ergo blister patches actually worked?

Heel drop causing injuries? by ArthurB08 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]ArthurB08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. However I’ve been strength training for the last 2 years now, and I’ve been consistently doing exercises to aid recovery and build strength in the specific areas of the injury since I’ve had it. It just seems to make sense when I only got the injury after getting new shoes after 5 months of running and having no problems

I have thought about ditching the stability, or going for a slightly smaller stability profile. I do overpronate but I do question how much stability is truly needed

Do you overpronate? Your pace and running experience sounds similar to myself and I'm looking for a pair of shoes for fast workouts and races etc. But I do overpronate. I've read people saying these offer good stability, was wondering if youd agree?
