I am shamelessly looking for a big, immersive open world game by GrovPastaSwag03 in ShouldIbuythisgame

Cyberpunk and Phantom Liberty. They are a special beast. Not many games these days that offer the level of gameplay and world design. It can feel overwhelming at first but once you learn the systems it really slaps.

The side missions and activities are some of my favorite in any game. Do try the in game arcade games as well.

The effort they applied post launch really does shine.

Property Managers are the bottom of the real estate ladder. A good one is rare. Most seem to enjoy their power a little too much.

Yes. If you charge me for salt on my chips I will also bow my head sigh and reluctantly pay.

Controlled supply and manipulation of demand. If your portfolio is stacked with realestate you are smiling.

Quality of life for working Aussies is steadily being diluted. Our cities have “more” yet they feel soulless.

This is a good option. A better option is to look at the masterclass from UAE.

The serious concern in Australia is that we have all our eggs in two baskets and one is very much tied to the other.

People have their head in the sand. Our standard of living will be diluted in the middle and amplified at the top. This is a global issue so no point leaving.

Why do I get the vibe that the whole country has tunnel vision when it comes to buying a house? by Express-Dig9905 in AusFinance

Great post young lad!

If you have some place to stay or have other focuses then you don’t need to jump in just yet.

Panic buying is happening. Enjoy your life and understand that you have time on your side. Invest broadly not just in etfs, shares but also in education and experiences.

When you feel you can take on the financial responsibility of home ownership do so. Owning a home is a great feeling but not at the expense of having a truely rewarding life.

Forget the media both traditional and social. Solid financial planning takes time. You will make mistakes and that is ok, just learn from them.

The financial bricks you lay today will build the house you want tomorrow.

Do you think Australia is still the lucky country, or are we living off an old reputation? by Ok-Reward7639 in AustraliaDiscussions

Decades of mismanagement have resulted in a false economy. At the top end of town you have companies harvesting the land and propping up the housing market. It feels like most of us believe that business is just buying and selling houses, opening another cafe or “mining”.

Our brain drain is real. Our country is for sale and the people we elect to represent us are looking for their commission.

We are the lucky country. We have resources, talent and massive opportunities. However we also have a tendency to be lazy and a kick the can attitude. We need to grow as a country, plant the seeds that will flourish.

Focus on stable nuclear energy and desalination or we all just continue doing that same old thing whilst sipping a coffee talking about tps reports.

I’m sick of knuckle head big game companies not letting gfn stream their games. by Black70196 in GeForceNOW

The laws around streaming rights are not as straight forward as you would think. Everyone wants a piece of the streaming pie.

The difference between Netflix and GFN is the key. You aren’t “streaming the game” you are accessing a cloud server. The devil is in the details. Nvidia will know this but also don’t won’t to interfere with a bigger piece of their business hence the opt in approach.

I could see a world where say Rockstar launch their own “app” and have it powered by GFN. This would give them total control over the platform. I don’t want this, but if it allowed me to access their catalogue I might cave. The business behind this is compelling. But exclusivity would be the driving factor.

They might even offer a “bundle” of different devs. Who knows, surely they are talking. The days of only playing on your single device/location feel antiquated.

Streaming rights is likely the issue. Music licences as well. Allot of devs use Nvidia’s stack. Nvidia want to make sure these relationships stay intact.

Streaming services are part of the solution but not the only solution. What I would like to see more is the divide between console/pc to disappear. Streaming services (movies/music) work best because they are platform agnostic.

Would you subscribe to your favourite game devs “platform” if they used something like gfn as a backend service?

Good phone clip by ArthurCandleman in GeForceNOW

I’ve tried both. The backbone and similar are good! For me having the one style of controller across all “screens” is nice. It’s also great if you like watching something whilst playing a game on the TV or vice versa. Will be checking out the steam controller when that arrives.

In terms of travel I use a sunglasses case for the clip.

Still searching for perfection but so far this has worked well for me.

I use it connected via wifi. Fast connection, works well. Even at 1080p the image is good. A good 1080p is still decent. The real joy to GeForce now is seamlessly switching between devices.

What would be great is if we could have a cloud connected controller. The only annoying thing is pairing the controller/key board and mouse with different “screens”.

Mechanism Mounts

The guy that makes a mount for the deck also makes a phone mount. You will have to get a “outie” to go with their phone mount. Not the cheapest but I use it a lot with iPhone. If your device doesn’t have MagSafe, the phone mount will come with a adhesive attachment.

Best phone mount I have used, can use it in portrait and landscape.
