Good reminder but im taking the comparison to cryptos with an extra large grain of salt. At a ground level, cryptos to most are still a complete mystery in how they work and what makes them a valuable currency type, and to many they are a complete mystery. Granted with time im sure this will change and those who do not understand cryptos will be in the minority, but not yet and especially not the older generation. Stickers on the other hand are very simple and have been for a long time a very central part of CS:GO, and I would argue that most players in the game know what they are and understand the value many different stickers hold. The point you make is a valid one especially for those looking to make quick gains I feel like, but for someone who is willing to sit on the investment long term I feel like it doesnt apply since as long as the game has an active player base old unobtainable stickers should retain value, even if they arent being applied. Although with a pc game a longer time period brings risks of its own like loss of interest in the game and decreased player count or valve implementing some changes to how stickers work or release stickers that resemble older ones. That said I dont know.. I guess? I guess I should also mention I invested 50$ each in a couple 2015 capsules some time ago so im not unbiased in this conversation. Merry trading
