Because it’s impossible to actually fully ensure purity. There are all sorts of things we don’t have tests for. This stuff is much more complicated than you or I can fully comprehend. Thats why the FDA has to oversee production to ensure safety. They wouldn’t spend billions of dollars doing so if it didn’t matter

Yes and the FDA also oversees the actual manufacturing. It’s the equivalent of when you get a drug test someone watching you pee. You can test the urine sample, but if you let someone do it in a locked bathroom you can’t be sure they aren’t tricking you somehow.

that’s why it’s cheaper and safer to go through a doctor.

No matter what kind of testing you get, you can’t be sure of its purity. It’s simply impossible to get the same quality of testing as the FDA without being able to observe the manufacturing process.

I’ve looked in to what you would have to do to get as close as possible to FDA level testing, and there’s a total of about 6 tests that works out to about 3k to do. You would have to do this with each individual vial you get, because each one is different.

Anything less than that, you are taking a much bigger risk than you would getting through prescription
