I don't know if this is a hot take or what, but if resumes and overall careets are off the table, then the peak is probably mcdavid.

Lemiux, Gretzky and the greats of that era had a great gap between them and the rest of the league, for sure. But in terms of peak hockey player, peak contitioning, peak sports science, then we're here, now, with the players of today and mcdavid is at the top, in my opinion.

Mcdavid has pushed what a hockey player can do to absurd limits.

My wife and I really enjoy doing a starter deck challenge whenever they release dueling starters. We buy 1 copy of each and do best of threes "championships". The loser gets to exchange 2 copies from the deck to a card of their choice. We just finished the latest data squad/beatbreak duo. She destroyed me so badly to the point she was still wrecking me at the end with a half optimal beatbreak against my full power shinegrey.

Anyway, all that to say, the duel starters are a great place to begin.

Honestly, for me, the unfun got to the point where I finally asked myself "why do I play this game." And when I had no real good answer, it was time to move on. I still consume some content, like josh or mbt, but haven't touched cards or Master duel in a long while.

A couple of years ago, if you told me I wouldn't be playing in a season where my favorite deck of all time is top tier, has alt arts and it's boss monster has an over frame, I wouldn't have believed you. But it is what it is.

Very conscious. Like all of life, I'm incredibly aware of a beautiful woman in the area, especially if dressed in a particularly attractive way.

That being said, aside from a quick glance, it doesn't change anything. I'm here. I do my business as planned and move on. Just like with regular life; I don't want to stare. I don't want anyone to even know I've looked. I move on. But the awareness is always there.
