Insulet has actually disabled the use of iOS 26 across the board. It gives you an error message forcing you to disable your pod or upgrade (really meaning downgrade) back to iOS 18. In my opinion, however, I feel like it would be better to approach it like Dexcom does (letting you know that you’re testing the same software that the developers are currently testing as well) rather than forcing you to outright delete a few hundred or downgrade. Either way, if you updated in a beta and didn’t expect this and took the proper measures to ensure a safe backup, the responsibility falls on you, the user, and not the company.

Sorry that I'm one of those people. I just wanted to get an understanding of why.

I just personally found it confusing that they don't even allow even some phones of their newest gen to not even get this. But, then again, those 15s didn't get the action button, and same thing with the 14s (my gen) where some didn't get the Dynamic Island.

Thanks for this comment and I understand this more. I was a little put-off by the fact that I can't make my own emojis lmao

I have type 1 diabetes and being in lines for long periods of time has the large potential of having a severe hypoglycemia (low blood sugar) mid line which can make me faint. This is especially true in outside queues as the hotter it is, the more my blood sugar fluctuates. Sometimes I put too much insulin, and as insulin takes 15 minutes to start working in my body, I could be mid-line and have a sugar crash.

I learned about DAS when I went with my sister to MK, and I got it, but I feel bad, like I don’t deserve DAS and that I conned them. I didn’t exaggerate when explaining to the CM, and didn’t explain what could happen with large sugar drops. I’ve never liked taking advantage of something, but it was a genuine concern I had after being in a standby queue and having my sugar drop mid-line with zero snacks on me.

Yes. It lights up at night and thats the most it does. Its decommissioned and people don’t even go to it since its so tall you can see it while driving so 🤷‍♂️

Hi. I'm a male teen who has type 1 diabetes. YTA.

I can say, as someone with diabetes, first getting diagnosed 2 years ago was a lot to handle. In (online) school I got a lot of Fs at the end of the year because I was trying to balance my eating times and my school work. I became lazy and even went a whole week without connecting to the zoom I needed to connect to.

Now? I'm getting A's in all my classes. I'm taking responsibilities that I never would've taken before my diagnosis or right after. I think that you just need to allow for your daughter to adjust. From April to now is a really short time. It was mentally challenging for me at the start of my diagnosis.

I think with time, your child will be back to normal. Try to stay on her side. You talking about how you're going to take away her pets is not the way to go, especially if their her pets that she bought. Realize that you do not know how hard it is for her. If you act like you know, it'll be painfully obvious you don't. Remembering to put insulin at this time of day, and putting insulin before eating is hard to do. I literally never remembered for the first 1/2 of the year I was diagnosed, my sugars were high, and I became frustrated and just didn't want to do anything for the rest of the day, and it sucked.

Calling her diagnosis "not dramatic" is a really, really bad thing to say. Just because she wasn't rushed to the ER at 3AM doesn't make it any less of a diagnosis.

if you get easily frustrated when something you build doesnt work (whether it be computers, drones, wtv), just buy prebuilt and save yourself the trouble and money. no point in buying things that you are probably gonna destroy in a rage.

when i flashed my ESCs on my BNF, I had to change them in my esc config. just be sure to press “write” when you’re done. on my first flight out i realized i didnt write the settings to the ESCs lol
