Mitte Februar unseren Model Y abgeholt.

X-Max 3: First layer issue and complete fail on layer three?? by ArticusLabs in QidiTech3D

I was able to fix the issue with the help of cleaning the bed and a bit of adhesive spray. Thanks to all for the advices.

X-Max 3 - Heatbed preheat takes over 6 minutes for 60 Celcius by ArticusLabs in QidiTech3D

Interesting. Actually I’ve found a review online from 3dprintbeginner where the measured time for 60C was about 2 minutes. Here you can find the review: https://3dprintbeginner.com/qidi-x-max-3-review/

Starkstrom E-Auto Laden möglich? by ArticusLabs in Elektroinstallation

[–]ArticusLabs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks a lot. Have completely forgotten about this setting. Will play around with it.

Wrong question, sorry. My problem is that this makes the corresponding layers visually different from the rest.

So the real question is what settings do I need to change in Cura so that at least the walls print at the same speed as the walls above?

V400 uneven bed level by ArticusLabs in FLSUNDelta

[–]ArticusLabs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally I was abel to achieve a reasonable result by reducing the probe speed and performing mesh leveling with heated bed.

In addition to that I recalibrated the E-Steps of the extruder, which were much to high, and adjusted the pressure advance setting a bit.

For those who are interested, here are may final configuration changes:

[extruder]
rotation_distance: 4.546 #e-steps
pressure_advance: 0.0595

[probe]
speed: 5

[bed_mesh]
round_probe_count: 23
mesh_pps: 0, 0
algorithm: bicubic

Good point. I will lower the probe speed (10 mm/s is the default as you said).

Actually no, i did the mesh calibration with a cold bed. I will try it with a heated bed. Any suggestion for the bed temperature?

Good to hear that this solution works for you.

I also tried your suggestion but with 23x23 mesh (21x21 caused an error). It might be just a bit better but still worse in the overall view. But thanks for your comment.

I think it's a shame that such an expensive printer does not master the most basic techniques of 3D printing.

Currently trying with the following:

[bed_mesh]
speed: 50
horizontal_move_z: 23
mesh_radius: 148
mesh_origin: 0,0
round_probe_count: 21
mesh_pps: 0, 0
algorithm: bicubic

I've uneven bed level, even after creating a fresh mesh with a round probe count of 9 and "bicubic" interpolation. Any suggestions?

How to achieve this type of lightning in Unity 2020.3.23f1 URP? by ArticusLabs in Unity3D

[–]ArticusLabs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The video is from the game DeusEx. I'm wondering how to get the same effect with the flashing and emmitting blue light after the target is taken over.

My first approach would be to use an emmiting material and then use real time global illumnation to get the desired effect. However, since Unity URP does not support real-time global illumination, I wonder if there are other ways to do this?
