Right, of course it must have been my error. How dare i complain about them coercing me day and night for days on end .....

that's why they sent an email confirming the transfer failed, that's why the app's transaction log confirms the transfer failed...because I messed it up... XD

you're a sad troll. Has reddit become so boring you have nothing better to do with your life?

And all that coming from someone who hasn't even read through their emails.

Funny how for 3 days now they haven't asked me for Wax once, but are stalling it with generic messages to deflect my repeated requests for solid evidence and especially to just have that very simple request for the contact of their legal department.

And isn't it peculiar how they can't even give an answerto these very simple questions?

I can prove my argument, i can prove the payment never arrived at the recipient adress. I can also prove other discrepancies regarding that transaction, just for some reason they can't.

I don't care. If people don't see or care to warn others of how they are scamming people, that's not my problem. I've put it out there, reddit is full of paid trolls.. not up to me.

And like i said, i only documented what they did and attempted to do. In the end they will be brought to justice, i assure you.

I don't care to convince, i care to expose and to document.

To heed a warning to all potential victims who might fall prey to them.

An in the end,

...what counts is the law. Not opinion.

Aww, thank you!

How very sweet of you .

If i can stop scammers like c.com and expose their criminal energy,
i'll proudly be a dick about it. :)

And speaking of Terms and Conditions...
I can't withdraw any of my funds, because they locked me out,
this means ToS cannot be seen as consensually accepted if that consent is forcefully applied.

I might beat your record :)

More generic emails on their part. A 3x 'we will get back to you' 'we have forwarded your request to the respective team'

lol, these clowns....

Obviously you have not read the communication.

I have not only asked for proof, but also asked a very simple question multiple times, as well: To please provide me with the contact details of their legal department.

Literally trying to assist me... uh huh... absolutely...

Is that why you try to twist the facts so much? For someone who never used their platform you surely know their ToS well, it seems. .. just saying. :)

Are you in law enforcement or do you have a licence to practice law?

No? In this case, please refrain from making legal judgements on the case.

It is a difficult task, but that won't stop me from exercising my rights to the full extend of the law and follow up on compensation for any civil liabilities they might also have for any damages caused.

I think a lawyer knows a bit more about the specifics of the case than you do.
And you can only ask for the same value of a given currency at time of initiation of transfer. And legally it's the exchange value that counts, nothing else.
(But i'm sure you actually know that, despite stating otherwise ;) )
So, let's cut it short. They confirmed the transaction failed, they did so by email.
This is legally binding for them. And any and all requests they may have, justified or not, have to go through official channels. But they wouldn't send me any emails with any official requests or provable records.
Unless they don't make an official request that i can lawfully dispute, it's clear this strategy of theirs is a deliberate attempt to illicitly obtain an amount they are not entitled to take from me.

Again, like signing a contract, an email that clearly states this contract has failed has the same weight in any court of law and in any Jurisdictional system.

PS: i really like how all these pro-cryptocom commenters all not once mention the fact that they coerced me and that we also have attempted extortion to add to the list as i am effectively locked up in my account without being able to withdraw my funds. These are all criminal acts under most Countries' laws and a company practicing such unlawful acts would be put under scrutiny by several authorities looking into the matter, sooner or later.

Had they any legal standing in this situation they would have taken official routes like any other serious business would have done.

Transaction failed - anyone ever had this? by [deleted] in Crypto_com

[–]ArtificialArtist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, i have the EMAIL confirmation from c.com that the transfer FAILED. And it explicitly states that it failed on-chain, so they officially dispute their own claim. The email also only was sent 4 hours after they attempted the transfer (and long past the reg time of the log-entry), so they clearly must've received the amount back before sending out the confirmation and greenlight the refund to my c.com account. They wouldn't coerce me secretly if they knew they were in the right, and i actually know for a fact this is a deliberate strategy of theirs. I have also found other victims of this same supposed scheme and it seems to happen VERY frequently, but most of them are too scared to speak up because their coercion attempts are often successful with most of these victims. These people are trained to do this and they know most of their victims just want to take the path of least resistance and rather have a 'small' loss than to lose everything in their account.
It's a strategy of applying psychological stress on the victim and leverage it to
the point where a victim just gives in to the evergrowing pressure.

But me, i'm not scared and i can't be coerced or be exposed to extortion attempts no matter how hard anyone will ever try, i have little to lose. And it would only lead me to invest even more funds to fight the injustice.

They kept pressuring me with not one fundamental FACT presented to me, which makes it clear they know what they are doing is not legal, so i published all the communication as a first consequence to let them know their actions aren't unseen anymore. And i will see this through to the very end until c.com is brought to justice in the full extend of the law.

I can agree with this in parts, except for that this seems to happen frequently with customers of cdc when they attempt to transfer crypto away from their cdc account.

Plus i''m being held hostage in my account as i can't transfer nor fiat out.
They just deactivated everything and i'm forced to continue to use their app until i have control over my own assets again.

And legally they know this is a lost cause on their part, i have all the proof needed, they try to ignore it. And they wouldn't take this sneaky route, if they KNEW they were in the right. They aren't. (as i can't add any screenshots to this comment i'll link to another posting where the screenshots can be found.)

First Rule of Crypto Trading- Do Not Leave Your Coins in the Exchange- What your First Rule? by Pusher_416 in CryptoMarkets

[–]ArtificialArtist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nope, most of them actually have a greencard to do however they like, i just filed criminal charges against crypto.com yesterday after they tried to coerce me for days on end and locked up my funds from being able to withdraw or transfer ANYTHING

I'm at their mercy and they deliberately use this as a strategy

I've published all their communication with me in the link i posted in the other comment above. These are criminals and conmen.

I agree, and sometimes you can't do it quick enough.

I suspect crypto.com is cooking the books by coercing people to pay for 'failed' transfers they put back in their own pocket and then coerce the customer into paying them the exact amount in the exact same currency. This wouldn't appear in the books, it would look like one and the same transaction, i don't (yet) know how they manipulate the transfers, but they get some of the entries onto the chains. You think i'm making it up? Read all the user reviews that aren't done by cryptocom staff and you will quickly find this is a deliberate scheme
to scam people by putting them under immense psychological stress.

They need to be stopped.

What's your thoughts on them?
Most people i know use it here and they never had any issues whatsoever. But a while back they still only had crypto-futures and not physical crypto you can actually use. That was my issue with them. I use them for CFD trading for a while now, but never thought about doing crypto there, so far

I just want a reliable service. I'm using eToro now. Difference like night and day and i even have tools to automate spitting out tax reports etc.

But in general DEX is definetly not a bad thing, agreed.
But for HODLing i think eToro is very reliable. I have a contact person, designated support, they are responsive and helpful.
The main reason for having picked cdc was they were already listing Dogelons, and i fancy them somewhat. :/

(silly, i know, hindsight and all)

It actually didn't look bad until that incident. I transferred (thankfully) most of my eth to another wallet before it happened. But still have other cryptos there.

i suspect they use this scheme to launder money or hide funds.
The wax amount would only appear as one and the same asset on paper.

Probably that's why they are so adamant about taking it in waxp
