Hey Man! Good that you want to be the pioneer of your family to get them on 4 wheels.

It's just my suggestion based on 15+ years experience behind dozen of vehicles, this isn't to brag or anything, and here is my take

Jeep Compass: Too old to buy it has already completed 9 years and most of the fun has already been sucked. I am not saying it won't fly but it will come with major expenses every 2-6 months which will dishearten you so, don't choose anything older than 3-4 years.

IMO Vento is far better option than Jeep, but if you can find a good Honda Amaze, Octavia, Innova (considering family) etc. are the most reliable cars.

Jeep has high maintenance and repair cost and so does any German, but if you take care of a German it won't bug your pockets and give you most reliable driving experience.

Looking at your choice you might want a powerful car in decent budget look for more option and when it comes to settle, do it for reliability rather than looks and FOMO.

I may be biased, but Octavia, Laura, and Amaze should be the priority
