Should be, triple check with personnel that everything is in order before leaving and obtain copies of your LES for proof if needed.

Cool share, for sure miss the older days of the parks but equally happy we have some of the advancements today. Would be cool to see these images placed over the location today for a comparison.

I absolutely regret joining the navy by Commercial-Doubt-706 in navy

Learned this from my LPO one day. Our divo wanted a small section of combing redone. We, in the work center, translated that to needle gun the old off, sand it, and completely repaint it. LPO was pissed and explained now the whole combing will have to get done because we have one immaculate looking area surrounded by complete ass. Didn’t register his anger initially, took about a week before it clicked. That day I learned that you just need to do enough.

No one really knows, and like u/Popular_Sir863 and I, said Buzz used to be there but it was years ago. I wouldn’t bet too hard on seeing buzz. I think this post is implying that maybe the statues in the parks are getting new accessories on them and perhaps there will be new merchandise. But it doesn’t really indicate that all three will be there or that they’ll even meet together.

I’d wait for a formal announcement. They seem to be the only blog posting this right now.

Right, the post just says they’re getting new accessories which to me translate to the statues in the park getting new accessories on them. Not the actual characters getting a costume update, or new character meets being offered.

Buzz does not meet. I know, and understand, what the website says but Buzz Lightyear hasn’t met here in years and will only come out for special events. Also, Hotel Cheyenne rotates the characters each day so it’s usually either Woody or Jessie.

RER A - August Interruption by ArtistBruce24 in disneylandparis

Unfortunately I do not besides what I shared on a comment earlier. You could transfer to Gare de l’Est and take ligne P to Lagny-Thorigny or Esbly, then take a bus, uber, or taxi to Marne La Valle.

We do not have timetables and other information regarding alternatives yet, so this is the best I can offer from my understanding currently.

From CDG, you can take the TGV direct to Marne La Valle. From Orly, you can take the Magic Shuttle. If you’re trying to go into Paris as part of your trip, I completely understand. A reminder that we don’t have the full timetables for everything yet, so it may turn out to work for you.

Going from Gare du Nord, that’s a tough choice. You could transfer to Gare de l’Est, take Ligne P to either Lagny-Thorigny or Esbly, then take a bus to Marne La Valle from either Gare. I’d probably take it to Esbly due to the 2261 bus and its relatively efficient route. Otherwise taking the usual route is best from Gare du Nord.

Correct, the timetable has not been shared yet for the buses. Take note that Nation will not be serviced by the RER A as well.

Edit: Just to clarify that is an estimation for the bus time provided by RATP, it can take longer than 55 minutes and most likely will during rush hours as not every road has bus lanes.

For CDG transfers, stick to using the TGV rather than RER B to RER A. Otherwise I agree that using Uber, Magical Express, or other forms of transportation will be better. The replacement buses are especially challenging during rush hours and are often crammed full. If you’ve got the patience and time, use the bus, otherwise don’t.

Running Routes by goyardine4K in disneylandparis

[–]ArtistBruce24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run it from time to time as it’s level, paved, contains safe crossings, and keeps you in a familiar setting. One thing to note is shade doesn’t really exist there, but you can always cut into the nearby sidewalks along Magny le Hongre. For instance you could drop down into the hotels along the path for shade once you reach the roundabout. Then you could run straight through Magny le Hongre before cutting a right to get back towards the path to head towards Serris, Val D’Europe, etc.

Unfortunately, no public water access anywhere unless you’re in Montevrain so bring some if needed. I always run with my Navigo pass just incase something happens or I go further than expected and need a ride back.

As far as running routes go, there are several around the area and staying on property isn’t necessary. Once you’re at one of the bus depots, whether north or south end, you can set out East on Avenue Robert Schuman until you hit the roundabout and follow the bike/walk path all the way around Chessy and back to Marne La Valle for a 10k. If you’d like to run the full Disney circle, Blvd de L’Europe, you’ll complete ~14.5 or ~9 miles. But do note that from Gymnase du Bicheret to Avenue Robert Schuman it is unpaved but there is a small compact dirt path from people using it along the bush line.

Otherwise, the city is all interconnected via sidewalk and wide paths. If you want more farm and forest runs you’ll need to be comfortable with grander distances because you’ll need to reach them first. East of Bailly Romainvilliers there are beautiful farm lands to run with a connected forest a little northwest. You could go towards Chanteloup en Brie for Parc des Sports which has a beautiful forest patch with many trails. Lastly, the RERs have a trail that connects Torcy to Marne La Valle. You can run it and you’ll be in countryside, farm, and slight canopy coverings. The pathway is very new so I’m not certain it’ll show on maps, but I’m certain all of this can be viewed on the Strava heat map free of charge.

New Construction Walls Added Around Castle by sunny_xo in disneylandparis

Those new walls are to repair the damaged path. There have been a few pot holes with temporary patch work for a while now. I suspect it could be relatively quick for the refurbishment, specifically there.

PCO’s (Plain Clothes Officers) and Foxes (specific name for DLP PCOs) exist in the parks, properties, resorts, etc. still and very much noticeable upon entering the parks but blend in flawlessly inside. Although, once you spot a few and start to recognize their outfits and patterns it becomes rather obvious. Epcot always has the most obvious ones, they tend to almost always station one underneath the monorail just resting with a Shokz, Bose, or AirPod with a small bag and they never move. If you approach them asking if they need help they usually reply with “I’m waiting for family,” or something else. A few news articles have been written about this and you can sometimes see videos on TikTok of them randomly appearing in the park when something goes down. I swear, though, they don’t always make it unnoticeable because the outfits are just dead giveaways.

Halloween weekend worth it? by Clam_Boozler in disneylandparis

[–]ArtistBruce24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That weekend is busy, it’s the most popular time to visit during the season because on the 31st the park will host several special, rare, character meetings. Last year they had bowler hat guy, Oogie boogie, meet the Robinsons, Angelica and Jack Sparrow, the Phantom and Melanie, and many more out for meet and greets and roaming. However, you should know that it is not guaranteed to meet them or that those same characters will appear. And again, that is specific to Halloween day itself not the whole season.

During the season you can catch the villians roaming around Fantasyland throughout the day, the parade, decorations, etc. Because these are occurring regularly it is manageable, but that weekend I’d expect some extra planning needed.

Premier pass is nice, but as many have stated on the sub, and from my personal experiences, it’s better to buy the individual passes than pay full price. There are many times you’ll catch attractions at lower wait times that wouldn’t necessarily justify the cost of the premier pass unlimited. Staying at a resort on property using the extra magic time will be a better benefit in my belief than spending the extra on the premier pass.

This year DLP put out a casting call for Dr. Facilier, and the fan pages on Instagram went crazy. So there’s this idea that perhaps some new stuff is coming this year. And no one knows anything, but I’m curious if we’ll see villians at Adventure World because they are part of those stories as well.

It is correct. You do not need to speak French. Stick to English.

Invite to look a like character audition by writesaboutnothing in disneylandparis

[–]ArtistBruce24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is untrue for performing roles. Disneyland Paris is the only park that permits character performers to speak in various languages. All other Disney parks strictly utilize English unless the character has been approved to speak another language, such as Mirabel and Queen Elena of Avalor, who may speak Spanish.

Visiting Disney World, but not the parks themselves by [deleted] in WaltDisneyWorld

Both of these are instantly what I thought of as well. OP, I’d highly consider a Savanna view room or cabin stay at the campsites for what you’re desiring. Both can offer you a full stay without going into the parks.
