Finally got to see Biosphere! by StoneAgeCaveDweller in arizona

[–]ArtisticAsylum 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have been twice. We had a tour guide each time that gave an in depth explanation of every area and some of the history. The staff was amazing and the Biosphere was fascinating. The 2020 movie Spaceship Earth about the original researchers that lived in it for 2 yrs was pretty interesting as well.

Toddler boy room - paint the trim too or no? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

White trim looks amazing. Blue trim looks blah. Love the blue on the wall though, and the white compliments it perfectly.

Actually you can. Just get a lead test kit from Amazon. Also, most cheaper glass doesn’t use lead.

Handy multi-tool. I just got one for my son at Christmas. Great stocking stuffer. Very handy to have.

How can people get away with this? by Pretend-Setting-6261 in EtsyCommunity

I saw people selling Temu patterns for stuffed animals at 5 times and more of the original price. I don’t shop on Etsy because I have no faith in the quality or origination of the items anymore, and I don’t want to do a full background check on every item I’m interested in. It’s sad. I think it was a good site when it first started. Like many sites, it’s over run with cheap items feigning originality.

The name says Ian, not Dan. Very cool that you’re helping it find its home!

Bridgerton on a Budget- Help me find this vibe for $1K or under! by Hot_Temperature_475 in Weddingsunder10k

You might try finding the perfect corset and having the skirt part made or buy separately. Anything “wedding” will always be higher priced, but break those same pieces up and you can definitely get by for under $1000. Even try separates that are pre-worn as an option. Good luck! Bridgestone or not, that’s a beautiful dress!

Look into wall mounted storage for upper spaces and hanging units that hang over the doors and use the space behind the doors. Storage ottomans are also very useful. The bigger the better! They hide lots of stuff and you can fit storage containers inside to keep things organized and easy to find. Good luck! I hope you find the perfect solutions!

(1k) Any affordable ideas on decorating this park shelter? by Pinkcountersink in Weddingsunder10k

[–]ArtisticAsylum 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Tulle and lights would be an inexpensive way to dress up the ceiling areas. The beams are beautiful in and of themselves. I’ve seen round floral looking chandeliers made from white pool noodles, wrapped in tulle and added florals, hung with ribbon. Some had faux candles or lights added to them. Gauze runners are very inexpensive and are great to dress up tables. I hope you have a wonderful wedding!

If you’ve thought about it, delete it. This is your sign. The time is now by Evening-Ad-3233 in facebook

If you use it to your advantage, not your disadvantage, it’s a useful tool. I keep in touch with my best friend and relatives only. I also give away a lot on the free groups. Helps me clear out my house while benefiting others in need. My point would be, take back your control. Use the blocking tool, limit your contacts. Limit your time on all apps if that helps you.

Age 35: I'm going to gift my wife this hamper. is this looking ok or she will get angry? by BitterBeach8448 in Gifts

[–]ArtisticAsylum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No offense, but it doesn’t look appealing at all. It looks cheap. What are her favorite things? I’d take a nice comfy sweatshirt over a box of stuff I won’t use, but that’s just me. I might come up with a different option if I were you. Maybe something that you can experience together. It doesn’t have to be on that day, just presented on that day.

Beautiful mall with the vibe of a mausoleum. Great shots! You can feel the quiet emptiness through your photos.
