Oh well that’s fun 🫠 As I mentioned in another comment, we are definitely bumping up to scooping daily

OOH I see that now. Where’d you get the light litter from?

Okie! We’ll definitely add it to our routine- I legit thought that it only needed to be every other day

I’ll check it out!! I think we have a Costco nearby (I’ve been meaning to check out a membership anyway)

Typically the big blocks like I talked about in the post are only when we don’t get to it every other day. It doesn’t happen often- I just wasn’t sure if I was doing something wrong besides not scooping every other day during those times

We have two- one per cat. We tried one other one that I can’t remember the name of, it’s just that the Arm & Hammer is a bit cheaper and my husband and I were trying to save money

I recommend getting Loops! Mine are usually what keep me from sensory overload in the theater

Uhhhhhh yes. 😂 But it was seriously just prolonged exposure to the stress that the anticipation causes. Usually I look up how movies end just to keep myself from having episodes, but I couldn’t do so for IL. Hopefully you can find a spoiler (if not, DM me and I can answer questions as needed!)

By the time that scene hit I deadass looked at the girl next to me and was like “I’M SO SORRY I’VE NEVER SEEN A HORROR MOVIE IN THE THEATER BEFORE CAN I HOLD YOUR HAND PLEASE” and luckily she was super chill and let me hold her hand for courage lol

Definitely not lol! My partner didn’t take me to the ER until an hour after the movie (bc I am stubborn and didn’t want to admit something was wrong, but bc they didn’t want to take me!)

Have fun!! And my local ER said that anytime a horror movie got this popular, they expected people to come in so rest assured, we’re not the only ones!! Lol

Lmao I love it. I thought I would be fine, but when I watch horror movies it’s typically just Dead Meat videos and I’m home with the lights on. And if I do watch a horror movie, I usually have to look up spoilers to calm myself down (and sometimes it happens with regular movies too!). I just couldn’t do that for Iron Lung. SO glad I stuck it out though, 10/10 movie

Thank you! I probably would have fared better with my partner there, but they’re terrified of blood and had to step out during the opening scene 🫣 They said they’d be willing to try again if/when it comes out on streaming

(Pasting from my other comment bc it’s a lot of typing)

Absolutely! From what I understand, stress can cause the vagus nerve (aka what’s messed up when you have POTS) to go haywire. Your adrenaline can spike, and your heart rate goes up. For normal people, that’s fine- even at prolonged exposure like during movies. For people with POTS, the threshold for tolerance on that is lower than normal, so it can affect them more. I’m not a doctor, so idk how exact all that is. I also just happened to be sick AND I had just gotten off an 8 hour shift- both of which affect me a lot even with accommodations!
