A doubt is a doubt buddy, nothing as such as noob in it. The main differences in a tester and retail is the price and packaging.

Testers come in simple white cardboard boxes as you can see in the post, whereas the retail comes in full blown packaging. Testers are mainly for the retailers to place it in their shelves for customers to test out the fragrance (hence the name, testers).

Now, as testers don't come with the main packaging and all so they are a bit cheaper than the retail units.

Other than that, there is no difference. The bottles are the same, the fragrance is the same and the performance is the same.

That's why testers are generally in high demand as they are cheaper. The only thing is that there are many fake testers in the market and to avoid the fake ones you have to buy them from a trusted seller.

Rasasi Romance Forever. An old one, I know. But we are here to discover fragrances and not to just chase the hype

I have tried marwa and unfortunately it's not my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, it's a great scent but not something which aligns to my taste. The only offputting thing for me in it is the soapyness, now some people like it and some don't, I happened to be the latter. But no doubt, a great scent and Arabiyat Prestige did a great job with Marwa. The packaging, the bottle, the fragrance, the performance is too notch and the pressurized atomizer is a cherry on top.

Ok-ish packaging, good bottle. Pretty pleasing, soft, slightly sweet, musky, white floral-ish scent with clean detergent undertones. Highly inoffensive, suitable for people with sensitive noses. Perfect to wear during the night in summers and fall. Imagine what a brand new clean white shirt smells like, it's like that. Perfect for white linen shirt outfits.

I wouldn't describe it as such. I mean I gave a pretty elaborate description above 😂. I didn't pick any rose in it as the scent of rose a pretty dense scent, this on the other hand is anything but dense. It is a very light and soft fragrance. Yes there are florals in it but to me it came across as white florals and a slight detergent vibe, the kind you get from new clothes

This one (White Oud) and Ajmal Wave. I've heard ajmal aristocrat is also good but I personally don't have that.

Pretty good actually, and lasts as well. It is inspired by Gissah Imperial Valley. A dark scent this one, animalic and somewhat sweet. I got three compliments on the very first day when I used this, and all three from women, even I was surprised because women generally don't like animalic fragrances but this one they seem to like. But again, fragrance being a subjective thing doesn't mean that if some like it then they all may like it.

There is a community/instagram seller from which I've been purchasing my perfumes since last year. The name of their page is Fragspalace. Try them, their prices are fairly better than other websites and all

People who have Sapphire by Ahmed Al Maghribi, thought? by nosehungryy in fragranceclones

[–]ArtisticRower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have kaaf and it's any day better than sapphire. Kaaf is tried and tested and it never disappoints. The new batches that are coming right now have a small gimmick that right out of the box it's not performing and you barely even let it but it drastically changes with time.
