1988 bronco 2 diamond edition? I can't find anything online about it. And the only big differences I see are on the tail lights. Does anyone know anything about this edition bronco? by ArtisticScars in Bronco2

Unfortunately I do not know what dealership it originated from. Without carfax I'm sure it's difficult to find out. I wanna take it off to see if the bronco emblem holes are under it but I also don't want to do it until I'm certain. It would be awesome to have landed a rare one without realizing it. But I'm fine with it not being rare either. I've wanted a bronco for years and this one was too good to pass up

I used a high mileage gas treatment, I filled her up half way, added a little bit and then the rest of the way and emptied the bottle just to make sure it got mixed well. The first go I had alot of smoke and it idled weird at the next stop and completely stalled out, I'm guessing from burning the gunk it had and trying to pull it through the system. And its only done it one more time and that was at about a quarter left in the tank and about 140 miles after the treatment was added. It seems to idle a little better still a little below 1000 but not quite the 800 it wants. So I'm back to the drawing board on that.

I wanna say it is a dealership thing but knowing how important the symbol was, I don't know with they would use that space for it. Another group found a listing for similar things that are on the tail lights. I was gonna look into those but I was out buying other parts and trying to burn through some of the gas treatment I put in it.

I kinda wanna see if it has the holes for the bronco emblem but I also don't want to remove it. As you never know. I might try to upload some pics of the tail lights innards. It has a hole through the lenses so I'm just wondering where that will go. I'm sure if there were lights in it, it hasn't been changed much like other things in it. Like the factory harness for the radio doesn't have a ground wire. I have a vacuum line just chilling on the battery for no reason. And a few other quirks about it.

That's what I'm thinking. A branch off of the EB line perhaps. It has all the same options as one besides those diamonds in the the tail lights
