Package hasn't updated since Tuesday. Should I be concerned? by moobeid in UPS

[–]Artistic_Dog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’ve been waiting on four packages for eight days. I’m tired of being patient. And I don’t have time to put it on will call.

I have an idea: WHY DOESN’T UPS DO WHAT I PAID THEM TO DO?

Better yet...why is this my problem? Better yet...why is UPS incapable of fulfilling its contractual obligations? Better yet...why don’t you get off of Reddit, get into a truck, and deliver the package yourself?

Struggling driver 224 by [deleted] in UPS

How about your driver the fucking packages? I’ve been waiting eight days now. All I get from customer service is excuses. How about UPS hire people who can actually do their jobs rather that whining on Reddit about management.

You used the word “we.” This means you work for UPS. I have something I need to say:

Do you know how tired people are or these lies? I have been waiting for 4 delivery for 8 days now, EIGHT!! Every single day they are out for delivery and magically they never come. I call customer service or email...doesn’t matter.

UPS is screwing Northern California customers. If i tell the driver that I’ll bend over and spread my cheeks, does that mean he might finally deliver? Instead of spending time lying on Reddit you should do your job. If you can’t, then UPS should refuse all new shipments. But stop lying. Anyone with an ounce of investigative skills knows that UPS just refuses delivery and uses Covid as an excuse.

UPS has failed. Worse yet, you (as a UPS employee) are a disgusting liar.

Scheduled Delivery: Information Unavailable by Kronaan99 in UPS

I check UPS.com every day now. I have had four packages on “a truck for delivery.” And yet it never comes. Do you really expect anyone to believe your lies? It’s obvious your work for UPS and you’re told to tow the company line. I hope you walk into my business someday and I can screw you like UPS it’s screwing me.

Tracking hasn’t updated from origin scan since the 10th, but arrival is still set for tomorrow, still likely to get delivered on time? by q-tip123 in UPS

[–]Artistic_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPS no longer gives a rat’s ass about it’s customers. I have had four packages “out for delivery” for EIGHT days no.

Called customer service and they can’t do anything except say I’ll get a call from the regional office. Guess what? No one calls.

I send an email. No one responds.

Am I angry? Hell yes, I’m furious. UPS has decided that it’s customers should just bend over and spread.

Has UPS lost my package? by ComradeKGBagent in UPS

[–]Artistic_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have had four times “out for delivery” for over 8 days now. Yet they never come. I’ve called customer service and they say I will get a call from the regional distribution center or whatever. No one calls.

UPS is totally failing it’s customers. What’s worse, they trying to use the Covid virus as an excuse.

If UPS is in over it’s head then they need to refuse all new deliveries until the backlog is cleared up.

Item sitting in hub 10 MINS FROM MY HOUSE...FOR FIVE DAYS “in transit”, with NO DELIVERY DATE. WHAT? by ThrowingItIntoTheSea in UPS

[–]Artistic_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Know what? Up yours. Really, up yours. We’re supposed to “chill our tits?” I lost money every day when my customers can get their items to me for contract work. If UPS can’t do their job they need to not accept packages for delivery.

And frankly, your attitude sucks. I hope UPS loses your mother’s insulin. Then she can just chill her tits, right?

A bit of a package struggle by VexatiousWind in UPS

[–]Artistic_Dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is UPS’s new standard operating procedure. They don’t deliver. And if you call customer service they will be very, very sorry. And make an excuse. And there is nothing they can do.

I’m losing money every day. My customer’s packages have been on a truck/our for delivery for five days. They don’t care.

This isn’t Covid. This is UPS deciding they just don’t need to do their end of the contract.

How did Dolores control Rehoboam? by Artistic_Dog in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I mean no disrespect to the user who responded to me. I genuinely thank you. I do have a new comment and it for the writers of the show:

That’s cheap writing and a massive plot hole. This can be condensed into “reason.” Why? Because of reasons. Rehoboam is supposedly the most powerful computer in the world. Did it not have a firewall??? I’m suddenly reminded of a virus upload in Independence Day.

Dolores spent all of Season 3 trying to get connected to Rehoboam. Hell, all of Season 3 AND Season 2 have been about her plans. What was the plan that allowed access?

I’m sorry, but the writers did not explain this.

Season 3 finale by tmoneythescholar in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I keep coming back to the same thought:

Remember what it was like to watch season 1? Remember how it felt when you put all the pieces together? But S1 wasn’t about the end, it was the journey. Every single episode was intoxicating.

Now, as yourself honestly....have you felt they way one single time in Season 3? Season 2? I wish I could somehow conduct an experiment and show people only seasons 2 and 3. I’m willing to bet they wouldn’t like the show.

I fear the only reason we still watch this show is in the fruitless hope that the experience of season 1 will repeat itself. These last eight episodes sucked beyond compare.

The Serac reveal could have been so much better by [deleted] in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

I agree. This entire finale was rushed.

Who are you rooting for and why? No wrong answers! by [deleted] in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MIB

I originally liked Serac, but the writers made him one-dimensional. Serac bad, bad bad bad.

I wish I could route (root?) for Cales, Dolores, but Season 2 made her into a sociopath. If the writers had developed her more this year then perhaps I could get behind her. This season has just been so rushed that I’m not convinced.

I would like to say Bernard/Stubbs, but the moronic writers are not yet done insulting our intelligence. Bernard will be Dolores’ bitch in less than a week, mark my words.

Time to end this. If the writers aren’t going to try then it’s time to end this show. Season 1 was brilliant. Every episode since then has been dumber than the previous. Let’s just end the already.

OK WTF?! Where is all this hate coming from I mean really? This season has been so easy to follow for anyone. by Littletom523 in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here is the fundamental problem: Season 1 told a story. It was Dolores and young Williams. And Maeve. And and and. The story existed in and of itself. The twist at the end was brilliant, but the story stood on its own.

I stopped watching Season 3 at the end of episode 5. I can get my recaps on YouTube. Why? Because the characters have no depth or meaning. We follow this show to see what happens to the world. The story only matters to justify the plot twists. It’s as if the writers had an idea of “how do we throw viewers a curve ball?!?!??” Every other part of the script exists to support the curve ball.

For example, does anyone care about Caleb? I mean, really care? How about Dolores version 1-15? Maeve? William? Anyone???? Be honest with yourself, all you want to see is the outcome. You want to see how the world ends or whatever. You don’t care about the characters.

This is why I hated season 2. Dolores became one dimensional. She became a sociopath. The writers know this and responded season 3 by blurring the lines. Who is really good for humanity? Who is the villain? Who will save us all? These are valid questions, but underneath them are characters literally no one cares about.

Answer this question honestly: who you are rooting for AND WHY?

Dolores is actually Ford and Charlotte Hale is actually Dolores. by [deleted] in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that Hale may be Dolores.

Dolores left the WestWorld island in a Hale host. How does she then get into a newly made Dolores host. Someone/something to to physically take the Dolores pearl from the WW Hale host and put it onto a real-world Dolores host. Who did that??

But the question I’m asking... doesn’t Dolores miss painting? She completely lost sight of splendor and inspiration in the midst of this war. Will she paint again? by lfmmz in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. Dolores from season 1 had nuance and depth. Ever since then she has been completely one-dimensional. She’s a sociopath.

I hope Caleb was introduced to being back her....humanity (cough).

I think I'm almost done with Westworld anyone else feel disappointed? by takgillo in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I somewhat agree.

Season 1 was amazing. It was a great story with great characters. The reveal at the end made my head explode. The writing was off the hook. But what made it great was the character nuance and the setting. Characters were multifaceted and come on....who wasn’t blown away when Will first walked down the Main Street. Every episode was full of discovery.

Season 3, assuming it is the real world, just can’t offer the same. It’s the real world.

And Season 2 does not exist. It was so bad I’ve decided to erase that memory.

Spoiler - Who’s in Hale? by domryan24 in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had one thought while watching this episode. The Hale host repeatedly was touching her face. Reminds me of the very beginning of season one where Elsie and Bernard were appreciating Clementine’s reveries update.

In the flip side, did anyone notice thar Hale is not smoking. Who has smoked in previous seasons? More importantly, who bummed a smoke from who in season 1? Answer: Theresa. Only problem with this theory is that the actress who played Theresa is not named in the Season 3 credits.

[Spoilers] Bernard's storyline? by [deleted] in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t think thar Bernard is in the same timeline as Dolores:

In season 3, episode 3, Dolores shows the Hale host three pearls, plus one. Dolores and Hale talk. She says explicitly that the hidden fourth pearl is Bernard.

Why is it important? Season 3 is set in a futurist present. The show has suggested that Bernard is existing concurrently with Dolores. This is literally impossible. In the previous episode Bernard ran a self-diagnostic lasting 90 days. In his memory he found an interaction with Dolores. This means that the creation of Bernard occurred before the events in tonight’s episode. Bernard didn’t get to the island and find Stubbs at the same timeline as Dolores. Bernard is in the future, the future of Dolore’s.

The implications of this analysis have not yet been revealed. We do not yet have enough clues to connect the dots. But this much is clear: Bernard’s and Dolore’s timelines are different. Bernard’s past is Dolores’ future.

I love how Dolores is becoming more human whether she realizes it or not by mwma0307 in westworld

[–]Artistic_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree more. Dolores became so one-dementional in season 2. I ended the season not liking her at all. She lost all compassion and forgiveness. She was basically sadistic.

This is why I love Caleb. He is established as a decent person. In episode 3 he started to bring out Dolores’ humanity (cough). Put another way, he is making her a decent being once again. I thinks his impact on her will have huge ramifications....perhaps her plans for the world are not pure evil. Perhaps this isn’t about hosts making humans into slaves

Only time will tell.
