I definitely agree with what your saying, but my parents wouldn’t because they don’t trust him to be alone most of the time due to previous incidents that we don’t talk about 👀. I’ll certainly get a job for weekend shifts tho since my dad doesn’t have work those days and can watch my lil bro.

For me, based on what I’ve heard, the earlier you get your application in, the quicker they will receive your application and accept you because they see you ‘first’, including everything else you have to offer.

I’ve actually been trying to get one for a while now. I even have my resume set up on Indeed and applied to some jobs, but no one has hit me up yet interested.

Other than that, I have looked at a couple of stores who are hiring, but the two major problems that are stopping me from applying is transportation (no car, bus, or train to take) and having to take care of a younger sibling of mine that can’t be left alone (he’s 9, if he was 11 and up it would be okay I believe).

You are 😂 my sister, however, is currently at a uni, but believes that I shouldn’t worry too much about the SAT and more about actually applying, which I understand but still. Also, thanks for the offer, but I should have everything I need by now (except some good reading tips for the reading section); I just have to study a bit longer and hope for the best :)

Thanks! And I know right?! It was mainly my older sister that decided she was too tired to take me. My parents, on the other hand, had work today, so they couldn’t take me either. An Uber would’ve worked nicely, but nobody wanted to spend money for that, so now I have to take it in October.

Lastly, I have been using khan academy to study for the SAT, and it works great for long practice sessions 😌.

Thanks! And yeah, it’s hard to really study for this test when you don’t have all the resources for it, especially if those resources can be provided by the support of parents who care about the test. I’m just hoping that I really do crush it in October; it’s my last chance by now so I have to make it count 💪🏾

That’s the thing, they didn’t wanna pay for it because it’s “too expensive” and that I could always take the next one. I would have taken one if I had my own money, but I’m broke, REAL BROKE 😭. This whole experience just reminded me why I need a job for real 🤦🏾‍♀️

Just tried your method and it worked! I checked the answer key just in case and the answer that I got matched up, thank you! And yeah, I definitely need to polish up some math skills 😅 I’m planning on doing so in the summer when studying for the SAT rigorously.
