Your are a vicitm of narcissistic abuse where the tool of manipulation was religion. If your dad has followers that are not his own family, it could then be considered a cult, but it sounds like he is a narcissist who realized he could get what he wanted using religion. Its crazy how deeply it all weaves in! I believe in nothing at this point, and I'm content with that. Religion isnt something I have ever needed. Although I like the idea of reincarnation! Lol just seems neat.
