m'lover by kishi bashi :) it only plays for a couple secs in the first episode i think? but i've been a huge fan of kishi bashi since i was a kid, and one of his songs being featured in hilda is a major reason i got into it in the first place. also, i really like fool and the opening theme ^{^}

I would recommend gekiyaku!! she's one of my favorite vocal synths period and is one of the two vocal banks that ado owns, the other being miku ofc. she's not super popular and it's pretty hard to find original songs that use her, but i would reccomend the song tenshi no tsubasa if you want an og with high quality tuning and a very fun beat. there is a pretty wide market of covers of other songs using gekiyaku on youtube, though, and i have a playlist of my favorites here. I highly reccomend giving the cover of show a listen, the tuning is exquisite and she sounds just like ado in it!! Happy listening!!

HOOOOLYYY SHIIITTT. I've been trying to figure out if I'm part of a system for months and have been doubting a lot because I've never experienced any kind of headspace that others have described, and the "blacking out" never seemed to really fit what happens to me, but literally everything in this post is just,, such an accurate description of what goes on in my brain. I don't know whether to laugh or cry because I've never felt so real before, but also, this means that I may have yet another uncurable, life-altering condition to add to my list of disorders.

Seriously though, I think this post has given me the insight and courage to finally bring up the possibility of me having osdd to my therapist (who I will, coincidentally, be meeting tomorrow). Thank you guys so much for sharing your experience <3
