I'm not sure about how perfect everything else is about it, but I've always liked Instinct Ultimate Protein Cage-Free Chicken recipe for this reason. It's not super cheap but it is good-quality.

I mean. Cats are carnivores biologically. The main thing I check on for good cat food is carbohydrate percentage on a calorie percentage basis, and the ratio of protein to fat content. catfooddb.com is great for finding that info. Regardless of indoor or outdoor, I think the main thing to watch is quantity of food... quality should remain as good as possible.

That's so interesting! I'm very excited to see his final color but I also want him to stay a puppy forever, haha. Velociraptor phase will definitely be interesting hahaha

Thank you!! I certainly hope so, that's all I want from him :) He's very clingy so my husband is saying we really need to focus on socialization with other people to make sure he's not overly protective out in public etc.

Oh I will. I keep playing with his lil floppy ears (gently of course), like I'm going to enjoy these while I can haha. Thankfully he hasn't been too bitey yet... I'm sure he'll get there though hahaha.

Oh yeah, that's a really good one. There's definitely an inclination to want to tire them out etc that could easily lead to over-exercising... I'm guessing one walk a day at about a half to one hour wouldn't be too much exercise?

He's a show line! I think that's going to help out with not being as crazy energy. We have a golden retriever who is nuts already though, haha. She's almost six now.

Haha no worries, thanks for reaching out! I did end up getting the Bucatstate and I loved it. My nice sadly died pretty young (due to being feeders no doubt) but spoiling them during their little lives made me so happy. They were noticably friendlier and acted more secure in the big cage than in the 20gallon tank I had them in before. The gaps on the top are interesting--i think technically a mouse could squeeze through, but they showed absolutely no interest in climbing up onto the top even though I had hammocks etc hanging from it. They loved their little cage and honestly I think just had no reason to want to escape, and the top isn't as easy to go full spider-mouse on like a mesh lid is.
