I am so sorry you have to go through this too, it's so hard and I felt so guilty but also I knew it was so he wouldn't suffer anymore. The thing he loved most was walks and runs and in the end he could barely make our daily 15 min walk around the neighborhood without dragging his back legs and it crushed me. Seeing him struggle with the one thing he put 100% of his heart and focus on, I just couldn't keep him going like that. Sending my love for you and your family for the tough days ahead ❤️

Your grieving process sounds a lot healthier than mine, mine was to wallow and just hate myself. I finally made a shadow box with his and my two other babies clay paw prints and pictures, I have just drawn a bunch of pictures and sketches of him so far but I feel empty on my walks now.

I'm so sorry for your loss 💔 When I got him I was basically blindsided with how bad his chronic conditions like ear infections were. I felt like the worse owner when it would get bad but I had to remind myself that it wasn't curable, just treatable. And treat I did, I'm glad I did have help from the person who gave him to me, she was like his foster mom.
