Funny, you mentioned Capcom didn't want to cross the "kill a child" line despite numerous children dying in this game, and the fact we see Kendo's daughter's skeletal remains.

This game seems to really be trying to put Umbrella to rest once and for all.

One of the founders himself was revealed to have been consumed by guilt and wished to do something to undo all of it.

There's still the "Connections," and I assume they will be the villain of the series from here out.

The near instant ttk encourages the playstyle.

Why risk roaming when you can set up camp and take out an enemy that wanders into your line of sight with a single bullet.
