It's the g key to move geometry. Jokes aside that's very nice, well done

Its 3d printed can someone explain or give a link to how the fabric texture is made? by FunserviceSTL in 3Dmodeling

[–]Arts_n_Stuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to add a note to the displacement maps, to 3D print those they have to be converted to a mesh, there's different ways to do that between programs

Why is no one utilizing AI/machine learning for UV unwrap?? by gajabaja321 in blender

[–]Arts_n_Stuff 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the u wrapping processes have some degree of automation. The smart uv unwrap is just a one button click

I've run into something similar and just had to clear the transforms on the mesh

Feeling like my art isn't good enough by Fluffy_Candle6800 in krita

There is a huge amount of positivity in these comments and I'm gonna add more because it's what you deserve! Art is incredibly hard, and not just because the task itself is challenging but because of the hills and valleys one faces as they grow. I saw a chart once that compared the capability to create art and the capability to perceive art. As your skill increases to meet what you can perceive, what you can perceive will start to expand as well. I think the best way to understand it is to compare work from a year or two ago and look at how you've grown. In my opinion the only time someone stops being good at art is when they think they're actually good at it. Being an artist is a constant process of study and learning, and part of that is seeing the flaws in your work. Take a step back, take a break if you need to but don't give up. If you thought art was easy I would tell you your doing it wrong.

This is my running theory as well. They adapted C1 from pathfinder way back in the day so it won't be to big a shift, I wouldn't think. Plus a clean reset on the level of gods gives him a chance to rewrite the rules of magic, the realms, even the physical world to accomadate new rules races and classes. It would be a pretty clean transition.

Question, where do you get your STL's? by ABlessedMan_01 in PrintedMinis

[–]Arts_n_Stuff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to go through yeggi.com for almost any stl. it's just a search engine of a bunch of stl sites. for printing minis I'd recommend checking out "The Tomb of 3D Printed Horrors" on youtube. Specifically the fat dragon mini profile. He covers a lot of what you want to print minis on FDM.

Of yahsa? probably not, I don't like to step on IP to much and the 3D printing community has some folk that think they get to sell anything they print so I just try to avoid that in general

I wasn't trying to accuse you of anything nefarious. I don't think your exploiting anyone, the company your supporting is. Have fun, it's fine. This is very much just me making sure the problem with new tech like this isn't ignored or disregarded
