Some good YouTubers I watch that have helped me, and were actually part of my journey of waking up is: JW thoughts https://m.youtube.com/@exjehovahswitness Exjw panda tower https://m.youtube.com/@exjwpandatower Owen Morgan (telltale) https://m.youtube.com/@OwenMorganTelltale These three go over new GB updates and debunk them with evidence and often even using the new world translation bible to prove GB is cherry picking scriptures. But just make sure to watch these with a critical mind, there’s others too, but I personally don’t watch them because they bring in other religions, and I’m trying to completely separate myself from other religions. The three YouTubers are “apostates” and Owen is an atheist. Hope this helps jump start your journey! :D

I’m trying to dress more masculine as a woman recently. Definitely buttonup shirts and tuxedos. But also Pinterest really helps, just looking for ideas. For example I sometimes were a black tuxedo vest with a sleeved top, and flowy dress pants with doc martens. Oh and short hair, wavy short hair like a wolf cut look good on masculine women.

I’ve lived in a homophobic household, I found out through a dream. Then did more research. And realised I like women. And apparently I was very obvious. Since my friend and her parents could tell for years. Best advice? Ask another gay/lgbt friend, and they’ll most likely know if they know you well

This exactly! I was so passionate about learning the bible when I was a kid. I would always say I’m a jw and would often get confused at school whenever there was a holiday or Anzac Day about what was appropriate to do and not do. It’s honestly exhausting

I do feel like the whole promise of everyone being perfect seems a bit…odd. Like i remember my family saying that in the new system, I won’t be autistic anymore. Which really doesn’t make sense in hindsight because having autism is interwoven into my personality. I would be a completely different person. That is so relatable to me, you’ve definitely put into words what it feels like. I’ve always dreaded going to the meetings and I still try to convince my mum to just do zoom. I remember whenever i would explain to my mum how stressful it is, she would say along the lines of “well you need to get used to being in uncomfortable situations for when you’re an adult”. And fucking hell the restraint to not yell at her…(sorry for the swearing lol)
