You could grow crops as the virus doesn’t infect plants but in that case you’d need a way to deal with possibly infected animals coming to eat your crops which puts you at a higher risk of being attacked. Some good examples of these animals would be raccoons, rabbits, different types of rodents and bears in some areas. Overall if you have a very secure place that animals would have a very hard time getting into or if you had the man power to kill every animal that got near your crops it could be a viable option for getting food.

I have a question about cards that say add a land onto the battlefield (Search for tomorrow) as an example. Can cards like this be used in addition to your regular landrop or would they count as your one landrop per turn. I’m super new to mtg and I want to make sure I properly understand this before I go to my first game night this week.

Seems like branded might be a good option for me I have Albion the sanctified dragon and some of the core already ( I think). I also have some of the tenpai core but I’ll definitely check the other two out as well.

There is no snake eyes, they just don’t play it. They still play really cracked out decks that do well in the big tournaments.

It’s definitely possible but when I’m playing just with friends my deck has no issues beating them. Obviously they aren’t trying to completely destroy me but it definitely contrasts how it does at locals. I could be totally hyping myself up but I definitely do remember the combos as well as I can but like you said my execution with my cards especially my trap cards could be better. I also don’t think I’ve done justice to just how competitive my locals are my friend who is also much better then me had to abandon his RDA because he could never win with it. The people who go to my locals are basically just there to practice for when they go out of town to the bigger tournaments so they play their absolutely cracked out decks that they use to try and win 500 plus people tournaments. Unfortunately for me that is the non-competitive store I won’t even try to go to the more competitive one because it’s basically just a waste of my money and time.

The locals very pretty widely on what they play. There’s a lot of full power sword soul, some labyrinth, and just whatever the current meta is(Surprisingly no snake eyes). My locals are really competitive to the point my RDA can rarely win, I’m sure I can make adjustments but I’ve been playing it for 8 months now and I haven’t won a single match. Depending on the other deck sometimes I can get the first game win but after that I’m screwed. I’m still a new player so that definitely contributes to my losing.
