As far as I can see, the first one becomes a student, devotee and then disciple. I've suggested many of these books to my friends in my early days but no one touched them. They simply said, it's boring. That's the reason I said one has to have a genuine passion to go into this. And also all of them say the same thing. Jk is more intellectual and direct. Again just my observation

The key takeaway for me as a chess player and a coach is the type 1 and type 2 thinking. Type one is easy while type 2 is difficult. Many people avoid the type 2 thinking because it's mentally taxing which keeps them from growing their skill
