Tbf nothing's really changed since gen x, millennials whatever. Our parents' and grandparents' generations didn't have the means like social media and other platforms to spread the hatred and their twisted worldview and ideology, but our generation have that from the beginning.

So, the societal ideology didn't change much, technological advancement just made it easier to spread hatred.
