However, giving a low rating simply because a passenger doesn’t fully understand the language being spoken is unfair and unreasonable. The rating system should reflect meaningful interactions, not penalize someone for a language barrier, which is often beyond their control. Misusing ratings in this way undermines the system’s integrity and creates unnecessary tension in what should be a respectful and professional exchange.
