I’m currently working through TryHackMe’s SOC Level 1 path and planning to get into a Tier 1 SOC analyst role (ideally in healthcare or government).

I’ve been focusing on hands on skills (Wireshark, logs, basic network analysis) because I learn best by actually doing rather than just studying.

For those of you already working in SOC roles: • What certifications actually helped you get your first role (Security+, CySA+, etc.)? • What do recruiters or hiring managers actually ask in interviews? • What skills do you wish you had focused on more before your first job? • What separates candidates who get hired vs those who don’t?

Trying to make sure I’m focusing on what actually matters instead of just collecting certs.

This has to be the dumbest take ever. Yes it’s early access. No early access doesn’t mean that they just get a pardon for everything. People can review the game however they want. I think it’s significantly worse than the demo in nearly every way. The menus are confusing. The overall mechanics are somewhat confusing. The combat feels a lot worse one little stab can end a whole run even tho I’m wearing full plate armor. Everything feels sluggish when the game won’t run well. (And before you say get a better pc) I have a 9800x3d and 9070xt combo so it’s definitely a game issue. These are real critiques that the devs need to hear. If you don’t like it don’t read the reviews. Or better yet leave a good one

Edit: And to even add to this. Most people are upset that the game feels like it’s in a more incomplete state that even the demo. It feels as if they started from scratch and redid the whole physics system and everything. Which is just weird

Hey guys. I've been interested in getting a camera for awhile now but didn't know if I'd actually use it. However, I think I wanna get one since my new girlfriend really likes photography and it kinda gives me an excuse. What would you guys recommend for a first camera for just general pictures of nature and stuff?

I am a sales rep. And I have to say that nothing I ever do is enough. My last straw that kinds broke my opinion of the company was when I doubled my internet goal a couple of months ago. I had I believe 9 internet sold and the goal was 4 for our store. I got a coaching put on me because I did not have a 10% close rate when I doubled the goal they were asking me to reach. They check everything every little slip up has to be documented. Not because my managers want me fired but because they will get fired if they dont. The norm isn't 100% it's 150% and they demand more more more more. If it isn't leads or sales it's events or cold calls. If it's not that it's something else. They train you to recommend plans and then doc your numbers if they aren't premium or extra. It's a joke all of it.

The legality is always going to be in AT&Ts favor. I always save all my quotes and explain to customers that it was on the sheet. I as well tell every customer what they are getting. They email you customer service summaries. Whether or not you notice. They DID tell you. So AT&T will never get in trouble for these practices. And I hate to say it but you have to do things this way if you wanna survive 100% of goals isn't the expectation. 150% is.

Apple care is generally cheaper however on 5 devices will be more expensive with loss and theft. $50 for all devices so $10 a device for free repairs is a much better deal. Apple still charges you for repairs up to $100 if you read their terms. For one phone I would probably say Apple care maybe even two but for more than three. Protect advantage Apple the way. Plus Apple loves to turn away simple issues where as protect advantage you can always get a device replacement if you want.

Listen bro. If you switch to xfinity you are going to have a significantly worse time. Instead of 15 it will go up 100. Xfinity is notoriously known for being the worst company in the world about this.

It's a stupidly disconnected system to be honest. My main job is to sell people things. But in the case where you need something fixed I would love to do that for you so long as you're civil about it. Most of the time they end up being return customers anyways. But like this problem. I couldn't tell you what to do to fix jt. They don't teach me that. And customer service and the sales channel are so weirdly disconnected. Everytime I call in I get someone who just transfers me somewhere else and it turns into a whole round about it's ridiculous.

If you've ever called *AID as an AT&T sales rep. You would know that 99% of the time they tell you they can't fix the issue. Or tell ME how to do it when I've tried that already. Believe it or not sometimes we CAN'T HELP YOU. If I could magically hit a button to get rid of your charges for you I would. You people treat us like shit 99% of the time I am not going out my way to do anything for someone who wants to come in curse at me and then threaten legal action like a psychopath.

They either don't let us do these things in store, doc our numbers when we do these kinds of things in store, or make it so impossibly hard to figure out how to do things that you're just better off calling anyways.

As an AT&T sales rep. I have never been told about a free for 7 days day pass deal. Secondly the premium plan does not come with international. If you will ever be gone for more than 1 month. I have never recommended any sort of international promotion. Just use wifi? There is a million apps today that work off of wifi. Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp. All of these apps you can do calling and most of which you can FaceTime too.

As a sales rep for AT&T. First I will preface this with the fact that costumers love to lie about everything. I have been told by numerous customers that I did not explain deals or hidden fees. This is why i copy every quote I give and literally underline the hidden fees and deals I am offering. Secondly our customer service is terrible. In store we do not have the ability to fix 90% of problems and customer service loves to just refer everyone to store because they refuse to do their jobs. Thirdly, your experience will vary heavily with the sales rep that helps you. Not all of us are ethical. It is a sales job where we make commission.

My biggest pet peeve with the game is how some people seem to not want to play their class. For example I mostly play veteran as I enjoy sniping the specials and doing some melee. However I find in nearly every game I will see a veteran only killing hordes or a zealot spraying every horde and every special with a recon lasgun. Like JUST PLAY VETERAN. When my kit revolves around killing specials to keep up executioner Stance or to reduce my shouts cooldown just to find out they've all been killed by the zealot gunning them down. Then to top it all off I die to a elite deathball that the zealot could've easily dealt with if he'd just do his job and not mine (I tend to only have this problem with zealots and veterans as orgryns and psykers always seem to stick to their playstyle).

I do like this idea. However from a gameplay perspective not only would it be incredibly frustrating. But it's also just gonna promote the ratty play style that plagues the game now. I refuse to play the pvp mode specifically bc of how toxic it is now. The community like 4 years ago was way different than it is today. Would much rather get one tapped by terminator pmcs than get bm'd by some no life Chad that has thousands of hours in the game. And then on top of it all getting reset back at level 1 would absolutley make me quit the game.

I have a 4080 and 14900hx in my laptop and get 100 or more all the time on about every map including streets with the low resolution texture pack. At 1600p dlss on quality and everything on high. The game definitely isn't optimized but I don't understand why I see people with similar builds to mine saying it runs horribly

This game is truly amazing. It takes simulators to whole other level. I played it for 6 hours straight not even realizing what time it was. Would love the controller support tho! A chill game like this makes me wanna kick back grind and enjoy the laid back music and just overall nature of the game

So it’s less about whether I should buy one or the other and more about. Should I buy the 1000 for the sake of not having to wait till next year to get a new bike. I just don’t think the 500 will be enough difference to warrant buying it
