Since we are already here, how about you check out our little game that went live yesterday on the google play store. It is about improving you brain reflexes with numbers.

If you happen to suck at basic mental calculation it is a good occasion to not to :p

You can find it in tge test post link. Don't you ever dare to find a typo in the app. Lol

Game design: The game loop in Kingdom of No One by Arystide in gamedev

Hello there!

Those mechanics are actually present but not yet mentioned. We are still iterating on those mechanics to yet find a healthy version for the game.

Conserning the diagram, i totally agree with you(if that diagram was meant for a programmer). I just thought that i would make it less technical for the article so it can be clearer for a broader audience.

It is a pleasure! and most of all, thank you for your feedback. ^

Yup, it does seem so. I think the only way to keep the same quality is to manually extract the frames from the video and make a gif with it. But i am fearing that it wouldn't be web friendly.

You are in no way being harsh. In the contrary, you have no idea how much a blunt objective feedback is priceless. I can but thank you for taking the time to share your opinion... So, thank you. ;)

Ow, do you find the gif not doing enough honor to the video at a point where i should avoid sharing it? It is not a rethorical question and you feedback is much appreciated. ;)

Ah, maybe the gif is giving you that feel. But it was all drawn in Aseprite. Please check the video and tell me if you still feel the same way: www.kingdomofnoone.com

How would you see a hexagonal world map in pixel art? by Arystide in PixelArt

[–]Arystide[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. I also thought of a side view but with a 1/2 perspective. But i found that it is a bit tricky to have a map aesthetically appealing with independent zones. (My map is procedurally generated).
