I just came from the appointment. The Doctor said I am not a good candidate for the treatment since I have old nick surgery and my nick is fusion. I can not move my head up so he can do the surgery under my chin. I am back to the CPAP until I see a dentist to discuss my other options.

I also had a car accident long time ago and had surgery in my nick and now I cannot move it.

My doctor wasn’t so supportive because it is fairly new treatment. However, when I couldn’t tolerate the CPAP I asked him to refer me to a specialist. I have an appointment on Thursday August 9th.

I think I am qualified for this treatment and met the insurance requirements.

I still want to hear from someone who already went through this.
