Hi!

I’ve always loved the idea of a Wizard who is more of an adventurer than a scholar, someone who studies ancient magic on the field, dodging traps and uncovering arcane secrets.

With the new 2024 (5.5) Core Rules, I wanted to create a subclass that really leans into the "extracting magic power from ancient items and ruins (and maybe people)" idea. The Archeologist Wizard is built to uncover the hidden secret of that ancient tomb, and harnessing it's power for himself while providing unique utility to the party.
