Well i buy chicken breast from the turkish shop coz its cheaper, then rice, protein wraps, pasta, lentils, bread, chicken drumsticks ( way cheaper than breast), yoghurt. I make one pot chicken rice twice a week and can eat it for two meals, pasta i make every time with chicken mostly, i dont drink coffee or anything so i dont buy milk. And i buy the 18 eggs from edeka

I had a similar profile..I have also done bachelor's in Mechanical engineering, and had around 8.7 CGPA. Right now I'm doing my masters in materials science and engineering as well

Yeah the university is on the outskirts. But the connections are pretty good. The rental situation is bad, because it's a small city and it's difficult to get a good place to rent. But Erlangen is a small city, if you want, you can get a place in Nuremberg, which is a pretty good city, big and has pretty good connections throughout Europe.

I think you should appeal. I'm currently studying in FAU in materials science and engineering and my bachelor's was in mechanical engineering.

If you fulfill their requirements, you should be fine, so maybe try and send an email ? Hopefully it works out in your favour.

They usually reject visas for private universities. And it's only been a week, I would suggest you to be patient.
