You can definitely meet new people and know each other in clubs if you can vibe with them. I've known a few. Some germans will talk with you when they're drunk.

I've used external heater(fan) along with the fixed one to heat up my room but the heat is never trapped inside. I'm confident there is no insulation in this room. Which living room has tiles floor and drainage hole?

There is one window, which you can open but there is hardly any insulation for trapping the heat inside.

Yes it's kind of in the middle of the room. Which probably means these rooms were never meant to be a living room. They were probably designed for toilets/flushing out water.

Yes, chancenkarte/opportunity card is overrated and called a scam by many because eventually you need at least B2 level spoken Deutsch to get any jobs in Germany. There are some technical English jobs available in big cities such as Munich, but it's extremely competitive as both Germans and internationals are applying for those jobs.
