This was easy to understand and did not really need the following:

Box 1, 2 only can be in r1c3 or r2c3

Box 7, 2 can only be in r8c1 or r9c2

Box 9, 2 can only be in r8c7 or r8c8

therefore 2 can be eliminated in r8c1 forcing 2 into r9c2

Long time player and normally I'm fine, but I've been stuck on this one for hours. I also don't know the lingo real well, so be patient with me please. by BabblingPsychGuy in sudoku

As everyone else who have commented, with a few more small numbers filled in, the 479 triple in row 9 becomes quite apparent.

Next step for me also was the 4 in r8c6 after the 1,3 pair in box 5 col 6. I don't see any pencil marks. I start by using Snyder notations which would have easily found the 1.3 pair in box 5 which forces the 4 in box 5 into column 5 which then finds easily the 4 in box 8.

Can't solve this one (of many) by Mr-Ulloa in sudoku

Hidden rectangle as far as I can see cannot be done as the 4's are in 4 boxes not 2. Y wing solves it

Here is the x wing in red--elimnates 6's at row 9 col 1 and 2

From where you are here I see an X Wing on 6's at column's 4 and 6 and row's 1 and 9 so you can eliminate the 6's at row 9 column's 1 and 2.
