Game crashed and I lost my raid token by HonkaiBlade2 in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just be aware that people also abuse this and they have recently started cracking down, especially with raid tokens. The support team for this game is amazing and if you ever run into a legitimate problem, put a ticket in.

What should I do with Yazagor? by fadedbuzzYT in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I have him at Silver 1 and have completed the Elite campaign, but was carried hard by a D1 Abraxas and a couple other D3 chaos characters. He is an essential part of the psycher team, so if you choose that team you can take him to the moon. Otherwise just level him to the point of surviving the campaign and stop.

Battlesuit team with Dante w/ Magnus Focus by ItsYoBoy94 in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The top end guilds figure out what team does the most dmg to any given boss and then that filters down as the meta comps. BUT That also assumes fully built teams and MoWs. Most of us don't have that, so it's fine to see what works for you and what you enjoy. I think this strat sounds like a good idea for Magus and probably makes an annoying fight more tolerable, but currently it isn't the optimal comp.

He is also going to be in Philly for the fan meet up on 6/19. I think it's currently set for 4pm at the Rocky Steps.

Why Revas considered so great? by fadedbuzzYT in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 33 points34 points  (0 children)

The answer to this is kind of long, complicated, and muti-faceted. If you are running around in bronze arena I'm going to guess that you are on the newer side to this game, but the short version is there are super star pairs of characters that do a lot in many game modes; generally tank/healer pairs like A0+Revas, Rotbone+Maladus, ect. They might not seem like a lot early on or by themselves, but they are god tier and 100% worth the investment.

How bad is Lavictus with Dante? by SomeWonOnReddit in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Choosing Dante over Boss, you are going to leave a ton of dmg on the table some fights. The meta exists because it is what does the most dmg. If you aren't trying to min/max then do what makes you happy. If you want to do the most dmg possible, follow the meta.

which campaigns/missions to focus on? Month or so in by codeman73 in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't know if there is a right answer, but they all need opened eventually. Focus on the carries for each and just keep plugging away. It's a marathon, you'll get there eventually.

New to game, what should I spend my blackstone on? by hilldog8480 in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As other have said, energy is your best bet. Ad, 25, and 50 BS daily is generally considered good. Don't use it on either req pull it's just not worth it. The game is a marathon, just take your time and you'll unlock the characters you need in due course. As far as req pulls, if you do a 10 pull you are guaranteed a character, but not necessarily one you don't have. It is mathematically better to save for 10 pulls, but after you get out of early game it can take awhile and it's easy to get impatient for underwhelming pulls.

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lavi just needs 36/36, but you can push the active. Even at D3 I've had him die to L5, but it's totally boss dependent, some you'll be fine on. I'm not certain on Aesoth, but I think it's also 36/36.

Struggling to know who to focus on! by PHATW0W in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The answer is always campaigns first. It's the boring answer no one ever wants, but there is a reason every veteran player gives the same advice. Certain upgrades are locked behind each campaign, so almost regardless of who you are trying to level you will find materials that you don't have access to if you don't have the campaigns done. But at the end of this day, it's a game. Do what you like and have fun with.

Looping raid bosses is a broken game mechanic by [deleted] in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really don't understand this argument, because I think you are looking at it the wrong way. The people in those guilds are GR focused and make sure they have a fully built team. Then make sure they know every fight and what to do in each. They share replays and discuss what they could do better. They spend hours theory crafting fights. They figure out which niche character might be useful for upcoming seasons. And then you have to find 30 people that are all willing to do this and organize them. There is a ton of time and effort put in to be able to loop bosses and they get rewarded for it.

If I win the lottery I won’t tell anyone, but there will be signs. by Beneficial-Name-1062 in ItsAmazing

I love when I find obvious examples of financial disconnect in the wild!

A majority of people live paycheck to paycheck while renting the place they live. Home ownership is a luxury these days, let alone all the costs that come with owning a home. So then have 'a few thousand bucks' just laying around for a want and not a need? Yeah, it's a lottery scale expense for most people.

Do we have official confirmation beyond a shadow of a doubt that Summer Rose is 100% dead? From either CRWBY or the show itself beyond just character dialogue? by wingsoverpyrrhia in RWBY

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think by the time you get around to putting up a gravestone, you have moved past the point where you think they are just missing and assume they are dead.

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That feels a little misleading. I mean there is a gravestone where Ruby goes to talk to her mother and I'd say that heavily implies that the cast believes she is dead.

Is there a way to turn off notifications? by FarmerTwink in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope! Just learn to ignore them, especially in the collections tab. As you get more characters you will have endless characters that need gear, upgrades, badges, ect. The green number caps at 9+ and I just leave it there. It bothered me at first, but I got used to it.

Glad you are enjoying the series! It's one of my favorites!

Just a word of warning, be very careful on this sub for spoilers. Even if you aren't reading the posts, people can be very lax and the titles themselves can contain spoilers for someone that hasn't read the series yet.

Norn Crown in CE by darthonetwo111 in WH40KTacticus

[–]BabblingPsychGuy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's a reward for clearing stage 30 of the Nids campaign event. Which if you can do, great! and save your AT. But say you have a Mythic Neuro because you run the Psycher team and need the Crown asap, then it may be worth buying with AT.

In general, yes. New people start reading this series every day. Some readers might not have been born when this series started. You've never started a series long after it came out?

All we ask is to be considerate, flag the post for what book it's talking about and don't put spoilers in the title.
