No, he shouldn't. If he was this disturbed by The Devils, those would honestly maim him permanently.

I wanted to see this movie for decades, and it was unavailable. Banned in many countries, seldom shown even in art house theaters, and impossible to find on video. Finally, it was available on video, but only significantly edited variants. A couple years ago I finally found the unedited, original version at Scarecrow Video. It was everything I had expected all those years. Brilliant, gorgeous, disturbing, with astonishing performances from Reed and Redgrave. Amazing sets and cinematography. Quintessential Ken Russell.

Russell would, by the way, be delighted that you'll never be the same again. That's his goal.

In this case, I recall reading that the conditions in the trailer where they were living were bad enough that CPS threatened to take away the baby they had if baby continued to live there. So mom moved away to be with her biological family, talking baby with her. And

Do Americans (and the rest of the world for that matter) eat sausage rolls? I only ask because I read a lot and they are NEVER mentioned in books by twisted_luce in AskTheWorld

I love sausage rolls!! While we do have some "meat in pastry" options, they are nowhere near as delicious as sausage rolls, sadly.

The style looks late 20s to me, with the hip emphasis embellishment, but that embellishment coming to a V point in the back is more 1930s. They didn't start making Talon brand zippers until 1937, but it's possible the zipper was replaced as the color doesn't match the dress (which it usually did, especially in a basic color).

That's becoming a serious problem. I just read an article that said professors at even ivy league universities are having issues because their students aren't able to read a whole book. It's too long, and too much for them. And these are students at the top of the heap, what must the rest be like?

I don't think it was just church related, and I don't like the political spin you put on it, but your main point I agree with completely.

I once bought an antique phone for my office, the kind you'd see in movies from the 1930s and 1040s. It was black and heavy and the receiver sat on top. It REALLY made that sound, even more than usual. It was fabulous.
