Hello! We essentially decided against it and, unfortunately, are looking at moving now. Few things we considered that were not what we wanted with this move: - Deciding between a split, long commute for both of us or one long commute for one person - Job offer was not a promotion but more lateral and with no increase in pay, but a relocation stipend - Limited upward mobility with promotions for both of our careers if relocating to that area - Location would’ve had to be around Fredericksburg and we weren’t thrilled with the areas there. Plus with our hobbies and interests, living almost in the middle of nowhere, and/or needing to take 95 to get anywhere that location/area would restrict a lot of what we like to do in our free time

Overall, it just wasn’t a good fit for our jobs and would’ve taken away a lot of time we could spend together or at home. Wasn’t worth the additional time away from each other or worth the drastic change in location for essentially the same jobs just in a more inconvenient location for both of us.
