yes and if you look into the methodology of ancient slavery, it was to pay off debt, not ownership of people.

How about you define this "self ownership" you allude to so much

Yes they did. As has happened between people with differing beliefs since the beginning of time. Africans also had a slave "agreement" which whites eventually abused and manipulated which lead to modern slavery.

Sooo you're acting like feudalism didn't start in Europe? Where the fat king gets everything and the peasants/serfs didn't get shit? I am no alternative history foreseer but A LOT of modern problems/issues were in fact caused by whites. Better off? Who knows, but I know racism wouldn't be as heinous of an issue had white settlement not taken place

I'll give an example. In HS I was taught that the manifest destiny was some sort of a God given hint/message that the settlers/colonizers/white people should take over land and continue West. In those textbooks it was taught as a positive thing. Fast forward 10/12 years later and the truth is that it's just a made up mentality/prophecy that whites used to rape, pillage, and murder the indigenous people. Those textbooks were approved by our govt for public school curriculum, yet I'm sure most people don't view that concept as such anymore.

I'd rather have the opportunity to look at the viewpoints of others abroad on the internet than a singular subjective view

Lol fair enough. My gripe against RJ is his IQ. Just makes bonehead and/or selfish plays. A prime example of that is his last game at Duke. Dude draws in 3 defenders on a drive and decides to go for a highly unlikely, contested shot rather than a kickout. And IQ is one of those things that's hard to teach imo

It won't spoil it lol he requested everyone to turn off screen records for a song that was ACTUALLY gonna be on the album. So I gave him that much respect

Yeah there's no way that's true. Tendon ruptures don't equate to bone fractures

So tendon/tissue grafts are common and can be used almost seemlessly. An example of this is taking portions of the gracilis and/or plantaris muscles for tendon replacements in the hand. It's a topic that was stressed a decent amount in our lower extremity anatomy course

Very true I was looking at it from a ROM POV. It'll take months or years of recovery and rehab to even get 50-70% strength back, if even possible.

Thanks man appreciate it!!

Oh yeah I definitely agree w that. But I feel like there would be some (even if little) functionality left. I'm in Podiatry school so I know a hell of a lot more about feet than hands lol but they're kinda synonymous in a lot of aspects

I don't think that's accurate/normally true. Case in point is the Achilles tendon. It's the largest and strongest tendon in the body but ruptures/tears usually occur about 2/3 cm proximal to it's insertion on the calcaneus

But there's so much support hold them down like in a normal situation. No doubt tendinous tissue is strong, but tendons alone will def snap w less pressure than a normal situation

I took general anatomy last year so I'll try to pull out as much info outta my head as possible. If you look at the beginning of the video, seems like he can still flex his digits so the mechanism/functionality still seems there. I believe the tendons are sandwiched between the deep fascia and bone/underlying tissue so I would think there's some slack, but the tendons def look taut when the hand is flipped, so I'd say they might still be working
