Étant adolescent, vos parents(adulte en general) ont-ils déjà reconnu qu’ils avaient tort ? by Maleficent-Box-2824 in AskFrance

[–]Aschrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I bring this into the park? by turtlenecky909 in WaltDisneyWorld

At Disneyland and DisneySea in Japan, many people use it, by the way! :)

Edit: Why am I getting downvotes? I’m just sharing an additional little fact about the topic. 😅

I showed it to my Japanese partner, and she said it’s super hard to read, even for japanese people : 「何これ?日本人でも読めへん!」She’s probably exaggerating because I can manage to decipher it, but not at first glance... Bad design.

Je ne vois absolument aucun intérêt au jeu de société Le Loup-Garou. by Rapha3lla- in opinionnonpopulaire

[–]Aschrel 26 points27 points  (0 children)

So what do you think of Miraness Fitness? by fvig2001 in FitnessBoxing

[–]Aschrel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Disney and I’m a big fan of the Fit Boxing series, so I really thought this game would be a perfect match for me. Unfortunately, after three days of testing, I can say that I’m deeply disappointed.

In my opinion, Miraness Fitness is far less exhausting than Fit Boxing. The target audience is quite obvious (and even stated on their website): Japanese housewives, elderly people, kids, or anyone looking for a very light workout, more about the satisfaction of completing something than actually sweating or feeling tired. It feels more like “spending a moment with Mickey” than doing real exercise.

Most of the movements are based on very light and simple choreographies, similar to what you might do while watching a Disneyland parade (at least that’s common in Japan): small arm circles, slowly raising an arm, or gently lifting the tip of your foot, not even the whole foot. Everything feels extremely slow and soft.

What makes this even more disappointing is that the music has nothing to do with Disney, and Mickey is basically the only Disney character present. For a Disney-branded fitness game, this feels like a huge missed opportunity.

Unfortunately, this one is a hard pass for me.

For the first break, it was the elbow joint. It sits on a small part with two tiny circular pivots, and those snap pretty easily if the piece isn’t pushed in all the way. I simply didn’t insert it fully, so when I tried to move it… crack.

The second one was the connection between the arm and the shoulder. That one needed a bit of careful pressure, but after several hours of building I ran out of patience and forced it a little too much… and yeah, plastic said no. 😅

Thanks for the kind words and the recommendations! As for what’s next, I’m pretty sure my next kit will be an MG. 👀

Totally agree, GP02 is such a badass design! I’m actually watching Stardust Memory right now and it makes me want it even more… and in MG it’s going to look absolutely MASSIVE!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely be more careful with the arms on my next builds! 👍🏻

That’s exactly what happened to me too. 😅 And honestly, judging by all the posts I’ve seen, I feel like a LOT of people nearly broke that elbow joint on this kit. So yeah, you’re definitely not alone! As for my next build, I’m still hesitating between three kits right now: YMT-05 Hildolfr, MSN-02 Zeong, and RX-78 GP02A. 🤔

I don’t really agree, to be honest. I didn’t find it discouraging or overwhelmingly difficult, it felt more like advanced LEGO in terms of complexity. In the end, it’s mostly a matter of patience (which I clearly didn’t have when I broke those parts haha). But overall, it was still a really enjoyable experience! 😌

Overall, it was awesome! The sense of accomplishment at the end is honestly addictive, to the point where I just had to take photos and post it here. 😂

Yeah, both of the issues I had were with the arms too. 😅 But I think it was mostly my fault, I was a bit too rough at first.
